Dami's pov:

A few days had passed and she was back at work. Her new target was a rich businessman who appeared to steal money from his clients. A pathetic bastard who shamelessly takes advantage of the poor middle-class and enriches by making false promises.

Dami had followed him to a nice charity event and was now sipping champagne out of a glass while watching him from afar. She took out her best dress from her wardrobe for this occasion and put on some make-up. She must've looked stunning because all of the men wanted to flirt with her and even some women came up to her just to get turned down. Dami was here for work and not for fun although some of the girls were beautiful, their attempts could have led to a few passionate hours.

With her target in sight, she took another sip from her glass and wondered how someone could be like him. He was a handsome middle-aged man with the most stunning smile but Dami knew his soul was rotten and dark. A lot of times had she seen people like this. On the outside, they were so friendly and nice but on the inside, they were the complete opposite. Her targets always were like this. That's why Dami didn't feel guilt when she ended their lifes.

Only one person she had encountered was different. All she had heard about her was scary and nothing you would put in a bedtime story but when the underboss's eyes met hers Dami knew everything she heard was probably wrong. The assassin could see deep into the Harpy and all she saw was a wounded soul. That night she could see the true Harpy. How soft and tender the merciless underboss could be and Dami never forgets how her eyes had this soft glow in them whenever they made eye contact.

"Stop thinking about her. You will never see her again. She is dead." Dami thought while the event slowly started to get boring.

She would put her plan into action soon but before that, she needed to use the restrooms. Her target would probably still be flirting with the tall brunette until she was back. The tricky part would be to split them up and make him follow her to an empty room. Dami knew exactly where the security cameras were and knew all the spots for a successful assassination.

"I will need a hot bath after this." Dami sighed and followed the hallways to the lady's restroom.

Before she could open the door she heard a familiar voice. She had dreamed of this moment for a long time but now that it was really happening she froze in her spot. Her hand was still on the door handle as she closed her eyes.

"Hey, beautiful woman." The voice behind her said.

A day before:

Handong's pov:

They were in the middle of a meeting. Y/n was finally allowed to leave the labs and joined them.

"She looks well rested." Handong thought happily.

It was hard work but Siyeon's team had found the documents. They had laid next to Y/n's helmet in one of the hidden paths. Everyone was glad that the documents were safe, especially Y/n. It was visible how much it had dragged on her but now the underboss was looking good.

"We need to find this mole." Handong pointed out.

The room was silent before but now the lack of noise was depressing. Gahyeon looked on the ground while Siyeon played with her scarf. The only one looking at Handoong was Y/n.

"Do you have a plan?" She asked.

"I do." The boss smirked. "We know the bullet that Gahyeon took out of your body is usually used by the military which means either the government or mercenaries were the ones who shot you."

Y/n eyes glowed in rage. It was clear that she wanted revenge.

"Are we sure they were after Y/n and not the documents?" Gahyeon suddenly asked.
