Y/'s pov:

It was late and your stomach growled. Hunger paralyzed your whole body so you decided to make a break and make yourself a midnight snack. The way to the canteen was short and you wondered why there was no light in there.

"Is everyone on guard duty today or what the hell is going on?" You mumbled and stepped into the large room.

Usually, the men would play cards until morning or drink a few bottles but not today. Not a single person was in the canteen so you made your way to the kitchen. With a ham sandwich in your hand, you stepped out of the kitchen a few minutes after and made your way to the open door. You took a bite and were about to step out into the long hallway when you heard a phone buzz. Slowly you turned in the direction the noise came from and tried to see something through the darkness. Your hand automatically pulled your gun out. A sweat drop rolled down your neck as you switched on the light. You were prepared for everything. It was not the first time a bounty hunter made it so close to you but you were always observing your surroundings even though it looked like you don't.

"You?" You frowned at your browser and slowly calm down.

Your eyes landed on the assassin who tried to keep her eyes open but the light blinded her. A little confused you put the gun back in your holster but you noticed the blanket that covered her legs and it made a click in your head. Dami looked equally confused.

"She must've slept here. Are we out of rooms if that is the case why didn't Jimin tell me?" You thought.

It must've been uncomfortable to sleep on the couch and you felt pity for her as a thought crossed your mind. There was a room that barely got used. It would be good for the assassin's back if she could sleep on a real bed, not on a couch so you decided to help her.

"Follow me." You ordered.

Dami swiftly stood up and put on her shoes and jacket. You started to walk and felt her following you. If the assassin was wondering where you took her she didn't show it. In her usual nonverbal form she followed you out of the building. On the way, you munched on your sandwich.

"I can't let her sleep on this dusty old couch for one more night." You thought and it was hard to admit that your mood lifted when you saw her all sleepy in the canteen.

She was adorable. Your heart pounded loudly in your chest and you hoped that she couldn't hear it. You entered the building with your office and guided her up the stairs. Now you got even more nervous.

"What if she doesn't like it? Wait. Am I really worrying about what she could think? You thought and searched for the key in your pocket.

Dami's pov:

It was strange. Y/n guided her past her office and took another staircase that led to a locked door. Dami thought that The Harpy might allow her to stay on the couch in her office but now they walked closer to that mysterious door. Jimin explained that it was ground zero for everyone that didn't have a death wish. Y/n fidged with a key and unlocked the door. The room behind it was dark so the underboss switched on the lights.

"Aprés vous." Y/n said in her most carming tone.

Dami took a deep breath and stepped in. Immediately she got embraced by the strong scent of Y/n's perfume.

"You can sleep here," Y/n said and pointed to the big bed as Dami let her gaze wander around.

There was a bed. It stood right under the window which was open to let some cold night air in. On one of the walls stood a wardrobe. Otherwise, the room was empty besides the two nightstands on each side of the bed. There was no decoration or personal items. Only the two pieces of furniture filled the way too big room.
