Jimin's pov:
"I think I made a good first impression." The young man thought as they passed the gate.
The others had recognized him and let him through. He was proud of himself. It was the first time he manage to make a friend. The other employees of the organization usually avoided him because he was close to Y/n. Dami was a very quiet person and he liked that.
"We need to inform the boss and after that, we find a room for you to stay in," Jimin said and side-eyed the assassin.
The woman stood silent and gazed out of the car's window. He parked the car in one of the halls and jumped out. Of course, he was aware that the assassin didn't trust him but he didn't care. All he wanted was a friend at work. Sure he had friends but they didn't know about his job and would for sure cancel him if he ever told them. Jimin just wanted someone to talk to about work. Someone that knew how hard it was and the assassin was a good choice.
"These buildings are crap. How does the Harpy allow something like this?" Dami said as she joined his side.
She pointed at the walls where the plaster no longer existed and you could see the bricks under it.
"It was not Y/n's choice. She didn't even want to be here. Trust me when I say she hates it as much as you." Jimin chuckled and guided the woman to the main building.
The large warehouse was in a better condition. Y/n had chosen it as the main building. The guard opened the door for them and let them pass through. Inside it was cold. The old brick walls didn't let the heat of the summer in. Jimin walked up the old wooden stairs with the assassin and knocked on Y/n's office door.
"Come in." An annoyed voice could be heard.
Jimin opened the door and let the assassin enter first.
Y/n's pov:
You had a lot of paperwork to do but you looked outside the window. All you could see was the ocean and you hated every single water drop of it.
"I hope your trip was good." You said to the person behind you.
It could only be Jimin and the assassin. All of the others had the talent to avoid you and only knocked on your office door if it was important. You turned around and lay eyes on the most perfect woman on this planet. She stood behind Jimin and looked directly into your eyes. A wave of undefinable feelings struck through your body but you didn't show it.
"How is she able to make me feel this way by just standing over there?" You asked yourself and were finally able to look away from her brown orbs.
Jimin awaited new instructions. He looked excited. Something must've happened between them. You were sure of it.
"Show her around and make sure she gets a place to sleep." You said and turned your attention to the papers in front of you. "Oh and give her one of our special bracelets."
You could feel Dami's gaze digging into you and you tried to ignore it. It made you feel hot and cold at the same time.
"As you wish," Jimin replied and you were sure he bowed.
He always showed you his respect and gratitude, unlike the other employees. Everyone else looked at you in fear. You heard the door close and exhaled deeply. Your heart pounded heavily in your chest and the butterflies partied in your belly.
"Get it togehter Y/n. You are a mafia underboss." You scolded yourself.
How was it so hard for you to be in her presence?
