Dami's pov:

On the way to the assassin's building, she couldn't stop thinking about the way Y/n looked at her as they stood in the ally. The gaze of the underboss was filled with guilt and concern as their eyes met for a small moment.

"Maybe I was wrong. Maybe Y/n feels the same way I do and something was holding her back." Dami thought and guided Gahyeon to the hidden entrance.

It was not easy to look through Y/n. It always looked like  Y/n didn't care about anything unless she was angry. The underboss was a master at keeping her true emotions a secret but Dami knew what she saw in the Harpy's eyes.

"She feels guilty. Because of the way she treated me? I need to talk with her and bring clarity to this." Dami thought and took one last look back at the woman she loved.

Y/n was walking up and down in the dark ally while the other underboss leaned against the wall. The Harpy looked restless and concerned. A small smile formed on Dami's lip.

"So, you do care, Y/n. Your heart is not as cold as you pretended it to be." The assassin turned back and stepped out between the two buildings.

Gahyeon followed on her heels. The medic girl was excited.

"God, this is so thrilling," Gahyeon whispered as they reached the door.

"Stop being so goofy otherwise they will get suspicious," Dami warned her and opened the door just to reveal an empty hallway that lead to another door made out of steel.

It was hard enough to not get caught but with Gahyeon in tow, it was even harder. The medic girl had no experience, which could be the reason for the plan to go south.

"I can't. This is so exciting. I will see a real assassin's hideout." The pink-haired girl said.

"Just relax," Dami said more to herself than to the other woman.

She knocked on the door three times and a guard opened it a little.

"Name and password." He demanded.

"Dami. Butterfly. I have a twin with me." Dami replied.

Twin was code for a guest. A small moment passed where the guard seemed to think. The assassin got nervous.

"Did he notice something?" She asked herself but the door opened and they were allowed to step in.

"I need your weapons. You know how this goes." The guard said and pointed to the table.

"Yeah, yeah," Dami mumbled and faked annoyance.

Gayheon's pov:

She followed Dami and entered a small room. The building looked worn down and the air smelled musty.

"We're in." Gahyeon thought and watched Dami place her gun on the table.

"That's it. Can we go up now?" The assassin asked.

The guard grunted and walked over to his companion who sat on a chair.

"Hey, you. Wait." The man on the chair said and looked directly at Gahyeon.

"Y-yes?" She replied a little nervous.

"I need to check if you carry any hidden objects." The man smirked and stood up.

It was clear that he didn't want to check for whatever Gahyeon could have hidden it was more like he wanted to touch her on body parts where a man shouldn't touch a woman without her permission. The pink-haired girl started to panic and looked at the assassin for help.
