Chapter 46

Anika was talking to Veeranshu about her feelings but Khanna came running towards them "Sir, Ma'am jaldi chaliye CCTV room mein, bht badi gadbad ho gayi." VAni followed him and Anika tried to ask again "Kya hua Khanna ji, ab to batayiye kuch."

Khanna shook his head "Ma'am ap khud hi dekh lena, batane ka time nhi hai." VAni walked away with Khanna, Anika made a mental note to complete her conversation ASAP. On the other hand Veeranshu's heart was sinking with an unknown fear and he was continuously cursing himself for sharing his feelings.

Khanna showed the footage playing on screen and VAni leaned in to check it, both looked at Khanna with wide eyes, things just got more interesting.

Anika immediately closed the door of security room "Khanna ji, iske baare mein kisi ko kuch pata nahi chalna chahiye, iski ek copy banakar fatafat delete kariye." He immediately started following her instructions. She looked at Veeranshu, he was avoiding to look at her "Where are you lost?"

Veeranshu gained his composure keeping personal life aside he asked "Kahin nahi, I was just thinking about how is such a big scandal happening under the nose of Oberois and they are not aware of it"

Anika frowned in confusion, he was looking heartbroken but she focused on the current problem "Koi toh inki help kar raha hai, warna Oberois ki security ko breach karna asaan nahi hai."

Khanna copied the clip on USB drive, Veeranshu took it from his hand and kept it in his pocket. He checked other screens and asked "Khanna ji, aj se pehle aisa kuch nahi dekha apne?"

Khanna shook his head "Sir jabse humari meeting hui hai, maine saari keys ki checking strict kar di aur sab CCTV cameras check kiye. Ye wala..umm"

Anika urged him to talk and he mumbled cautiously "Ye wala CCTV camera humesha ek hi footage dikhata rehta tha loop pe aur humein lagta tha sab sahi hai."

Veeranshu looked at him in shock, somebody hacked the security system and they have no idea about it. Anika also cursed the situation culprits and asked "Khanna ji aur koi camera bhi hack hua hai kya?"

Khanna tried to say but then he raised his 4 fingers, as words were not ready to leave his mouth. She looked at him with wide eyes "What?? Aapne humein bataya bhi nahi?"

Khanna can understand her point but he is also shocked like them "Ma'am mujhe abhi ek ghante pehle hi pata chala hai, main tabse saare camera check kar raha hu. Ye wala last tha, jaise hi camera reset kia wo kaam karne laga aur sabse pehli cheez yehi dikhi. Isliye main apke pass aaya, warna aise case mein sabse pehle Shivaay Sir ko report karna padta hai."

Anika calmed down after listening to his explanation "Ye sab Shivaay ko report nahi hoga." Khanna nodded in agreement, his duty is to protect OF and for that he will defy his boss too. He asked after a moment "Okay Mam, Shivaay Sir ko kuch pata nhi chalega lekin abhi kya karna hai?"

Veeranshu tapped his shoulder "Khanna ji, abhi aisa karo jaldi se chaaro cameras ko wapas loop pe lagao." Khanna frowned at him and raised his eyebrows for an explanation but Anika answered his query "Aapne sahi suna, ye jaise the waise hi ho jaane chahiye. Kisi ko pata nahi chalna chahiye ki humein shakk ho gaya hai, warna wo log alert ho jayenge."

Khanna frowned in confusion "Phir humein pata kaise chalega ki wahan kya ho raha hai?" Veeranshu shook his head "Uski chinta aap matt karo, humari team hidden CCTV install karegi aj raat ko hi, jiske baare mein bas kuch logo ko pata hoga."

Khanna looked at the duo in amusement and  mumbled "Kamaal hai." VAni looked at him for an explanation and he grinned at them "Jab Anika Ma'am ki baat ki koi explanation chaiye ho toh Sir jawaab dete hai aur Sir ki baat samajh na aaye toh Ma'am samjhaati hai."
