JENNIE POV

Lili and I were at the mall because I dragged her here before she could run off to meet her friends. But now, I was seriously regretting it.

Why?

Because every damn person was checking out my girlfriend.

I glared at every girl who dared to look at my Lili, silently cursing them away.

"You okay, Hun? You've been quiet since we got here," Lili asked, her voice snapping me out of my silent rage.

I pouted, crossing my arms. "Why are you so attractive, Lili? Both girls and boys keep looking at you!" I huffed in frustration.

She just laughed.

Laughed.

"Hmph!" I stomped my foot, turning on my heel and marching away.

Lili, still laughing, called out my name, but I ignored her.

"Tsk. Why does she have to be so damn attractive?" I muttered under my breath, making my way into the Chanel store.

The moment I entered, the staff greeted me warmly.

"Good day, Ms. Kim," they said, bowing slightly before ushering me towards the newest collection.

I browsed through the displays, picking up a few pieces and adding them to my purchases. But something was missing.

No, someone was missing.

I glanced around.

"Where is that monkey?" I mumbled, growing impatient.

I stepped out of the store, walking back toward the spot where I had left her, only to freeze in my tracks.

There she was.

Talking to another girl.

My eyes narrowed dangerously.

You're in trouble, Manoban.

I stalked towards them, my ears picking up their conversation.

"Do you want to come with me, hottie?" the girl purred, her voice dripping with flirtation.

Excuse me!?

I was ready to throw hands, but Lili, being the innocent monkey she was, just smiled awkwardly at the girl.

"No, because I'm with my girlfriend, and that's not going to happen," Lili answered, clearly uncomfortable.

The girl’s smile faltered, and she started backing off.

Good.

But then, she touched Lisa’s arm.

I snapped.

I marched forward, my steps quick and deadly.

"It's okay, I'll return yo-"

"Hey, Hun," I called out, cutting the girl off as I reached them.

Lili instantly looked at me, her eyes widening like a guilty child caught red-handed.

Her arm jerked away from the other girl’s grip, and she sneaked her hand around my waist, attempting to act casual.

"H-Hi, Hun," Lili stuttered nervously.

She was about to explain, but I shot her a glare.

Silence.

I turned my attention to the girl, who was now eyeing me up and down.

Big mistake, sweetheart.

"And you are?" I asked coldly, my tone laced with pure menace.
