LISA POV

Me, Cubby, Jeongyeon, and Baby Chipmunk were having breakfast at a vegan restaurant-one of Baby Chipmunk's many food shops. With the newly opened coffee shop included, she now owned five different restaurants across Korea.

All because she was a food glutton.

Of course, she always insisted it was about sharing her love for food with others, but we knew the truth.

Not that we minded.

Right now, she was happily munching on her meal, completely silent-a rare sight. And honestly, kind of cute.

"Why isn't Bear with us today?" I asked, glancing at the empty seat.

"She's busy, Monkey," Jeongyeon answered.

"Yeah, she has a business meeting with her new partner," Cubby added. The two nodded in agreement.

I frowned. Why am I the only one who didn't know about this?

"Tsk. Fine," I muttered before standing up. "I'm done eating. I need to check on the studio, and Cubby, email me about the company later. I'm heading out."

Cubby nodded.

"Don't forget the sleepover tonight at my place," Jeongyeon reminded me.

"I won't."

I hugged them one by one, telling them to take care before finally leaving.

As I drove toward L-Studio, excitement bubbled inside me.

After this, I'd get to see Jennie again.

Meeting her every day sent a thrill through me. Her smile gave me butterflies.

I know we've only met a few times, but...

I already know I like her.

And I want to make her happy.

SEULGI POV

Sitting in my office, I flipped through a business proposal from my new partner.

Yes, I was also a CEO.

K Corporation-ranked fourth among the most powerful businesses in Asia.

Ahead of me were Yoo Corporation at third, Park Industries at second, and LM PRAN Company at the very top.

And the best part?

My closest friends ran those companies.

Even with all our titles, rankings, and wealth, we never let it divide us. We stuck together, supported one another, and grew stronger as a team.

Still, I couldn't help but feel a little sad about missing breakfast with them today. I had texted Cubby earlier, letting her know I couldn't make it.

A knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts.

"Ms. Kang, the meeting is about to start," Wendy, my secretary, informed me.

"Alright," I said, gathering my things.

She gestured for me to walk ahead, but I motioned for her to walk beside me instead.

The moment we stepped into the meeting room, I noticed two people sitting with their backs turned toward me.

They hadn't realized I had arrived.
