LISA POV

Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life, because finally, Nini is officially my girlfriend.

Even now, as I wake up, the thought of it makes me grin like an idiot. I barely got any sleep, too excited for today. I promised Nini I’d pick her up, so I got up early, got ready, and checked the time.

6:30 AM.

Still too early to go to her house.

Did that stop me?

Nope.

I was too excited to see her, so I didn't care.

I hopped into my car, a decent one, not overly luxurious, but still presentable, and drove off. In just twenty minutes, I arrived at the Kim Residence.

The guards recognized me instantly, opening the gates without hesitation. I nodded in thanks before driving inside. The driveway was long, leading up to the massive estate.

I stepped out of my car and walked towards the entrance, staring up at the modern mansion before me.

It was grand, elegant, and screamed wealth.

But it didn’t feel like home.

It was too perfect, like a statue without a soul.

I sighed, shaking off the thought before knocking on the enormous double doors.

A butler answered.

"Good morning, sir. Who are y-"

Before he could even finish his sentence, a shout interrupted him.

Both of us turned our heads.

Mrs. Kim.

She approached us with a bright smile.

The butler and I immediately bowed in respect, but she waved it off.

"You don’t have to bow, Lisa," she said warmly.

"Good morning, Mrs. Kim," I greeted her with a smile before hugging her. She hugged me back without hesitation.

"Stop calling me ‘Mrs. Kim,’ Lisayah. Call me Mom."

I nodded, still smiling, but the butler beside us looked confused, probably wondering what made me so special.

Mrs. Kim turned to him with a raised brow.

"Stop interrogating this beautiful creature," she scolded, making me chuckle. Then, with a smirk, she added, "She’s your future Master too, she’ll marry your Master Jennie soon."

I choked.

What!?

We just got official yesterday!

Mrs. Kim patted my back in concern. "Are you okay, dear?"

"I-I’m okay, Mom," I managed to stammer, still blushing furiously.

"Good," she said, linking her arm with mine. "Now, let’s have breakfast. I know you haven’t eaten yet."

I didn’t even get a chance to decline as she pulled me toward the dining area.

"Jennie will be down later, oh! There she is," Mrs. Kim announced.

I turned my head just in time to see Nini descending the stairs, her gummy smile on full display.

Before I could react, she ran down and threw herself at me, giggling as I caught her effortlessly.

"Good morning, Hun," she murmured before pecking my lips, completely ignoring the fact that her mother was standing right beside us.
