Chapter 29... Black Room

~Oliver's POV:~

I went to the bathroom to wash my face. I closed my eyes then opened them. I saw full black, Nothing at all.

It was like I was in a dream. Everything around me was gone, it was just blackness.

-"I never knew you could be this delusional"

I turned around and there she was, Adrielle.

She came closer to me, I tried to speak but my mouth was somehow shut.

-"Oh god I just love doing this to people" She giggled. "What's going on?" I thought to myself. "Nothing much, it's just a little secret of mine" She kept on giggling like a little girl.

She could read my mind? What kind of sorcery is this? "I know every step of yours" She looked at me without blinking. "You can think whatever you want Oliver but I will still know how to communicate with you.

I was freaked out, I knew she could tell but I wanted to leave. "Don't be scared," She said with a devilish smile.

-"Oliver, I may not be a good person in your eyes but I'm just doing what I love" She walked in a circle around me, still smiling.

My head filled with thoughts and questions that she would never answer.

-"I am a good person Oliver. So I will let you go" She wrapped her arms around my torso and whispered "Wake up."

I then saw myself in the mirror of my bathroom again. I walked out looking around, I was able to speak.

I was going to get changed when Christine bursted in the room. It gave me a little jumpscare. "Ace is calling a meeting" She said and walked out the door. She was acting like a robot.

I walked down the stairs into the dining room where everyone was already there. "As you all know by now, we will be sending you to a private school near here. Sofie already goes there so she will be showing you all around" Ace began speaking, standing up.

-"Now this is for high school but those of you who are in middle school will go with me, Chase and Alexandar to check it out with you." Chase and Alexander were Ace's brothers (They were triplets)

Everyone stood around the table like we were all frozen waiting for what he was going to say next. "You can leave" Ace sat down as we all took a deep breath and walked out. Everyone except Sofie... I saw out of the corner of my eye that she sat next to Ace.

I heard them having a conversation but I just walked upstairs since I didn't think it was any of my business.

Daniela, Jaxon and I all went to our room. Daniela was going to take a showe while Jaxon went directly to bed. I changed into my pajamas, preparing my stuff for tomorrow. Daniela came out of the shower as I put my bag down. She was wearing red and black checkered pants and a white top.

I saw Jaxons eyes go directly to her face... or a little south from her face...

Her hair was cold stone black. She had a towel wrapped around her hair when she sat down on her phone relaxing. "Aren't you going to dry your hair?" I asked, looking at her. She looked up from her screen to face me.

-"I'm just texting Gabriel," She said. As those words left her mouth I immediately looked at Jaxon who's eyes started to darken in sadness. Daniela put her phone on her bed, unlocked...

Biggest mistake of her life. She closed the bathroom door, hearing the hair dryer. I sat down in bed looking at Jaxon to see if he was going to do anything.

Not even 30 seconds later he leaped out of his bed, straight into hers grabbing her phone. "Jaxon, what are you doing" I sat up straight looking at him.

-"Looking at her camera roll" He said looking invested. I jumped to her bed as well, snatching the phone from his hand. "That's private," I said, putting her phone down. "I bet she has her nudes on there," He said, smiling.

-"You are such a freak! Why would you want to look at her nudes!?" I was disgusted. Jaxon didn't even know that and he could find a bunch of pictures of Daniela and Gabriel together so I wasn't going to let him see that. "I was just curious" He said getting up and going to his bed.

I went back to my bed looking at Jaxon from time to time to see if he would do anything. Daniela had become a close friend of mine and so did Jaxon but she was dating someone and I knew she was happy with Gabriel.

2 minutes later Daniela came out of the bathroom with her hair completely dry, she had changed into her pajamas I guess and went to bed, looking at her phone. She immediately had a concerned look on her face.

-"Did you guys look through my phone?" She asked, getting up. "Why would we go through your phone?" Jaxon acted so innocent. "I was on instagram texting Gabriel and suddenly my camera roll is open" She got even more suspicious.

-"I don't know Daniela, geez you have to blame everything on us" Jaxon looked at his phone again. She looked at me with her brows knitted together. I shrugged my shoulders looking at my phone. I was on instagram scrolling through Noah's page to see what he posted.

There were just pictures of him in school, studying, and with his other friends. Thirty minutes passed and Jaxon was already asleep, I could see Daniela closing her eyes slowly. She finally put her phone down and her head hit the pillow.

I was the only one awake. It was almost 1 am and we had to wake up at 6 am so I thought I might get as much sleep as I could. I put my phone on the opposite side of my bed and closed my eyes. Nothing but thoughts kept appearing in my mind.

Where was my mom?

Where was my dad?

How come none of my friends care that I was missing?

Why did Ace change his mind so quickly?

Why was my girlfriend not texting me?

How come my life was changing so fast at the age of 17?

I shut my eyes even more and thought of when this all began. How it all began. That gala was just a set up. A set up for only me.

I finally was able to fall asleep.
