Chapter 18

I don't know how my days went by. My mind was roaming around for the past few days and today is monday. It means makikita ko na naman si Liam.

I would be lying if I said I didn't get excited when he said he likes me.

I was really happy to hear that he likes me, but I don't know how to react. I never had a boyfriend and it kinda scared me.

Maaga akong pumasok para iwasan si Liam. I texted him not to pick me up and he didn't reply, but the important thing is nabasa niya ang text ko.

"Brielle"

"Uy ang aga mo Alexander"

Naka hoody pa ito at halatang antok na antok pa.

"I forgot my phone in my locker, kaya maaga akong pumasok. How about you?"

Napa kamot ako ng batok, "May tatapusin lang akong assignments"

"Nag coffee kana?"

"I did" Nakangiting sagot ko.

"Sa library ka?"

I nod my head.

"Tara."

Pumunta kami sa pinaka dulong library ni Alexander. May tatlong library dito sa university at ito ang maagang nagbubukas at konti lang ang mga pumupunta dahil nga nasa dulo pa ito.

"You look sleepy, you can sleep if you want. Ang aga pa naman"

It's 5:39 in the morning and our class will start at 7AM. Ang aga namin hindi ba?

"Brielle"

"Hm?"

Just like Liam, Alexander leaned his head on the table. Sleepyhead everyone.

"Do you like someone?" He asked while his eyes were closed.

I got choked. "No, why?" I answered. Liars go to hell, Brielle.

"I like someone," He said

My eyes widened.

"Really? Who?"

He opened his eyes at inayos ang upo niya.

"Do you think she'll be happy when I confess my feelings?"

"You think so?"

I nod my head.

"What if she ignored my feelings?"

I stop writing for a moment. "Then, maybe because she's not ready? But believe me, dumping me would be the craziest thing she'll ever do."

He smiled, and said something that literally made my jaw drop.

"I like you, Brielle"

Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig. Gustong gusto kong lumubog sa kinauupuan ko ngayon.

Ang aga aga Alexander 😭

"I really enjoy your company and you're such good fun to be around."

"I know this is too sudden"

Bakit ba nila ginagawa sa akin ito?

"I'm not asking you to answer me right away. I just want you to know how I feel"

I looked away. "I don't really know what to say, Alexander. This is too sudden"

"You don't need to say something. Just don't ignore me okay?"
