Chapter 36

It's already past 10PM and Alexander is still not around. I tried calling him but he's out of reach. Nasabi naman niya kanina na malapit ng ma lowbat ang phone niya.

I don't want to get annoyed dahil hindi naman niya kasalanan na sobrang traffic ngayon.

"Let's go home, Mondragon."

At nandito pa din si Liam sa tabi ko. Kanina ko pa siya pinapauwi pero ayaw niya akong iwan.

Though, I kinda felt relieved na nandito siya sa tabi ko.

"You can go home, Liam"

"I wont leave you. I failed to protect you that time. I won't do the same mistake again"

He really have the knock to make me speechless. This guy.

"I'm really okay. Malapit na daw si Alexander"

He smirked. "Kanina pa ang malapit niya na yan"

Hindi na lang ako sumagot. Ininom ko na lang ang tubig na binili ni Liam. Naka ilang bottle na ba ako ng tubig?

Dalawa, tatlo?

Staring at him right now, I can't help but to get drowned with my own thoughts.

Liam loves solitude, not because he hates people, it is because that means he is aware of his own existence.

"Brielle!" Hingal na hingal na lumapit sa akin si Alexander. Napunta pa ang tingin nito sa gawi ni Liam.

"Thank you for not leaving her, Liam. " Alexander is really kind. Even though Liam did something to him, wala siyang sinasabi. He kept his mouth shut.

Liam just looked at him without saying anything.

"I'm going, Mondragon" He said and I answered him by just nodding my head.

"I'm really sorry, Brielle. The traffic was really so bad"

I smiled and held his hand. "It's okay. Have you eaten? You must been really hungry and annoyed"

All of a sudden, Alexander hug me. Yung yakap na para bang takot na takot siyang maiwan.

"I'm really sorry"

"It's okay ano ka ba. I'm not mad and duh it wasn't your fault"

I gently tap his back. He must been so tired.

Umuwi nalang kami ni Alexander sa condo niya. Gusto niya daw bumawi sa akin kaya ipagluluto niya ako ng pasta.

"You can take a nap, first"

I didn't take a nap. Inayos ko lang ang table niya na puno ng paper works. Wala na siyang time mag ayos ng table ngayon dahil sobrang busy niya sa trabaho niya.

"Want some wine?" He asked.

"Yes" I answered.

It's already 11:30PM when he finish cooking pasta. He set the table, this is like a dinner date.

"What did you all talked about?"

Right. I forgot. Sa sobrang dami kong iniisip muntik ko ng makalimutan sabihin sa kanya.

"I'm opening a business this monday."

His eyes widened. "Really? What business?"

"It's like a botique."

"So that's why you're so busy this past few weeks because of that? I'm really proud of you, Brielle. I know you can do more."

I'm glad that a lot of people appreciate my effort and support me all the way.
