Chapter 33

"Kuya, I'm going" I scream. I didn't wait for him to answer. Lumabas na ako ng office niya. 

5PM palang, 6PM pa lalabas si Alexander. For sure nasa office pa siya. Since that incident happened, hindi na kami naka pag usap ni Alexander. I tried calling him, but he's not answering his phone. Kahit sa mga text messages ko ay hindi siya nagrereply.

He's mad, that's for sure and I don't know how to say sorry.

"Hi. Nandyan pa ba si Alexander?" I asked his secretary. 

"Nasa loob pa po ma'am" Nakangiting sagot niya. They knew me here dahil ilang beses na ako pumunta dito.

"I'll get inside"

I knocked on his door twice before I opened it and I saw Alexander leaning his head on the table.

He's sleeping. 

Inayos ko ang table niya, I organize his papers and pen. He looks tired. Hindi ba siya nakatulog ng maayos. I think hindi din siya kumakain. Andaming food sa table niya na di nagalaw. 

I feel so bad. Ayokong saktan si Alexander dahil hindi niya deserve iyon.

"Alexander" I gently tapped his face and he woke up. 

"Are you tired?" I asked, he looked way and fixed his hair.

"What are you doing here?" He asked plainly. Dati kapag nakikita niya ako ay naka ngiti agad ito.

"I just miss you." 

"Bawal na ba na puntahan ka?" Tanong ko pa sa kanya.

"Let me just fix my things," He said. 

Lumabas ako at hinintay nalang sa labas si Alexander. Sobrang dami kong gustong sabihin ngunit sa tuwing titignan ko si Alexander ay na ba blanko ako.

Pinagbuksan pa din ako ng pinto ni Alexander. Pag pasok namin sa loob ng sasakyan sobrang tahimik. Nakakabingi.

I can feel my tears but I'm holding out. Hindi ako sanay na ganito kami but I know it was my fault. 

"Have you eaten?" He finally spoke.

"Not yet. Would you like to eat? Or go home? You look tired."

"I'm sorry, Brielle. I'm just really so tired" 

"It's okay. You don't need to drop me off. I'll just take a taxi." 

I didn't want him to answer. I open the door and walk away. 

Alexander is not ready to talk about it so I guess I need to wait a little longer. It was my fault by the way. 

Liam's fault.

Kailan ba tatahimik ang buhay ko? Sa tuwing lalapit siya sa akin ay lagi nalang hindi maganda ang nangyayari.

"Brielle!"

When I looked back, I saw Alexander running toward me. 

Pagkalapit niya sa akin ay bigla niya na lang akong niyakap.

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, Brielle" He kept saying sorry, when in fact it was my fault. 

"I got scared, scared that you might leave me" 

I hugged him back, "No. Why would I do that? When you're the best thing that happened to me."

"I'm really sorry, Alexander. I know sorry wouldn't erase the fact that I made a mistake. But believe me, I didn't want that to hap—" he cut me off by giving me a kiss.
