"Can you please ready the documents, Brielle. The meeting will start anytime soon"

"Yes sir!" Nakangiting sagot ko kay Kuya Leon.

After my encounter with Liam and his girlfriend we haven't met since then. Ansella set the date for our dinner and I don't know if Liam is coming. I don't really mind even if he won't come. I respect their relationship and I don't have any intentions to tear them apart. 

I prepare the documents that are needed for today's meeting. I even prepare some snacks and water for them. I heard this is an important meeting because they will be releasing the drugs that have been studied and are going through a lot of clinical trials. 

"Perfect!" I whisper. 

I hope today's meeting will be successful. Kuya Leon spent almost all his time making this project successful. 

The meeting will start anytime soon kaya lumabas na ako sa conference room. While I was waiting for the Elevator to open, I received a call from Alexander.

"Hey, are you busy?"

"I'm working at the moment, why?"

"Oh. I'm sorry. Will text you nalang"

"No, it's okay. Just tell me"

"I will invite you lang sana to come tomorrow, opening kasi ng restaurant ng kapatid ko."

I smiled. "Sure"

The moment that I smiled, the elevator opened, at iniluwa non si Liam, na seryosong nakatingin sa akin ngayon. 

"Okay, thanks! See you later."

"See you" I whisper and hang up the phone. 

Tumabi ako sa may gilid at hinayaan na maka labas si Liam. Anong ginagawa niya dito?

"Where's the conference room?" Just like the old days, sobrang cold pa din nyang magsalita. 

I pointed to the front door, "Come inside that door" I answered.

So, he's part of the meeting later. Hindi na ako magtataka because his father owns a pharmaceutical company. I heard a rumor that they are merging a company.

I was about to get inside the elevator when he suddenly grabbed my hand.

"Can you give me a cup of coffee?"

Liam touching me like this, makes my heart beat, so fast. But of course, I know this is wrong. He's already in a relationship and I want to respect that. I'm not a bitch.

"Okay." I answered softly.

"Here's your coffee" Because Liam is so early, siya palang ang nasa loob.

He didn't say anything, he just took a sip from his coffee. 

This isn't exactly what I had in mind years ago.

"I'm going," I said and walked out of the door.

I still have a lot of what if's running in my head but I'm learning to process and accept everything.

The meeting ended very well and I heard matutuloy din ang merging ng company ni Kuya Leon at ang family ni Liam. That's good.

"May dinner kayo ng friends mo?"

I slightly nod my head and pack my things. "Yup! So I gotta go!"

"Ingat ka ah. Text me if you want me to pick you up"
