Chapter 45

"Today, I affirm my love for you and vow to share my life with you in everything. To respect and love you. You are the most generous person I have known, kind, honest and beautiful. I Alexander, take you to be my wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, from this day forward you shall be first in my heart and our souls shall be together as one"

I smiled and raised my right hand. "It is clear to me now that everything in my life has led me to you. I think back on all my choices and consider even the bad ones. I still feel blessed because I had done even one thing differently, I might never meet you and marry you today. I just love you so much. I, Brielle Taleigha, take Alexander to be my husband. Loving what I know of you. I will respect you and have faith in your abiding love for me, through all our years, and in all that life may bring us"

After 5 years.

"Mommy!"

I smiled as soon as she ran toward me. 

"Hi baby! How's your sleep?"

"I dream about coming home to grandma in the Philippines."

I heard Alexander chuckled. "Are you that excited to go home?"

Aidriele smiled widely and hugged me. "Yes, daddy!"

Can you imagine how time flies so fast? It's been 5 years since Alexander and I moved out and stayed here in the United States and we had Adrielle, our daughter. I really had a hard time when she's in my womb because of my back but I'm glad that I had her. Alexander has been really a great support for me.

It's been a wonderful 5 years with him and finally we're going home.

"Aren't you sad to leave your friends here?"

Aidrielle pouted her lips "I'll miss them but I'll have a lot of friends in the Philippines so I'm okay!" She giggled.

Alexander put his hand around my waist. "She's excited." He whisper

"Aren't you excited too? I heard you last  night talking to Darrion"

He smiled. "That guy prepared some welcome party for us"

We keep in touch with them, nung una ay galit na galit sa akin si Ansella because I'm leaving. She thought I was running away. 

"Daddy!"

"Yes sweetheart?" Kinarga ni Alexander si Adrielle. She's a daddy's girl. Lagi syang tumatabi matulog sa amin ni Alexander kahit may sariling room na ito.

"I'm excited to see tita Atasha and tita Alesandra. They said they're gonna buy me a lot of toys!" 

Alexander pinch her cheeks lightly. "So you're after the toys?"

She convulsed her head. "No. I want to see mamu and papu, too! Tito Leon, tito creed and tito hezekiah din po! Haaaay, I'm really so excited to see them all po."

It's her first time visiting the Philippines. I hope nothing bad will happen.

"Welcome home!" Sinalubong kami ni mommy at daddy. Dito kami tumuloy dahil nililinis pa ang bahay na titirhan namin ni Alexander at Adrielle. 

"Hello po! Grandma and grandpa! It's nice to see you po!" Kahit minsan bulol pa ay napaka daldal ni Adrielle.

"You look so cute, apo." Nakangiting sambit ni mommy.

Niyakap ni daddy si Adrille. Hindi ko maiwasan na hindi mapa ngiti. Nahirapan din akong kumbinsihin si daddy noong umalis kami ni Alexander. 

Isang linggo niya akong hindi kinausap.
