"I am not carrying those" Ellie said as she removed the condoms from the top of her luggage and threw them back to the side once again.
"Are you trying to get trapped?" Randa asked her, reaching over to pick up the condoms.
"No, I am not having sex on this trip"
"Baecation" she corrected and Ellie groaned.
"It is a business trip. Once. Again" Ellie told her friend who seemed to be having a hard time understanding that fact.
Randa give her a weird look but she paid her no mind.
No matter what her friends think or even what she sometimes allows herself to fantasize about, this was a business trip. Nothing more.
She was going to help with the project and also do her part of the deal to finally get out of whatever it is Kian and her were doing.
That's it.
Nothing more.
And, she had to believe that no matter how many times she wondered about being alone with Kian.
Wait, I didn't even ask where we were going.
She picked up her phone to text him, but instead, she saw a text from Evan asking her if she would like to train this weekend. She quickly texted him back first and then went over to Kian's chat.
After texting him 'Where we would be going?' he replied a second later stating it was a surprise.
She rolled her eyes hard at his corniness and threw her phone down.
If he didn't tell her where they were going, then she didn't know how to pack. And, if she didn't know how to pack, then she was going to have to pack big.
She shrugged. Whatever then.
She noticed Randa move to her underwear drawer to pull out something that looked lacy and she quickly walked over to her and put it back before looking her dead in the eye.
"I am not telling you this is a business trip again" she growled at her.
Obviously, Randa would roll her eyes because Ellie found out a long time ago her friends never took her seriously.
"Ok, then go over there without it, and then when it gets all steamy and he strips you. Don't be mad at me because you're in there with your holy panties on"
Ellie rolled her eyes, stuffing the lacy material into the drawer again. "I won't be mad at anyone because it won't ever lead there" She gave Randa a tight smile and went back to packing.
Randa sighed as she sat on the bed, looking at Ellie in pity. "Ellie, you can't really believe that nothing will happen between you two on this trip, girl"
