Kian Lancaster.
They call him the Paranoid Grim Reaper.
He trusts no one. He's impulsive, ruthless, and in the night he comes alive.
But, what is a King without his Queen?
Ellieandra Starr.
She's everything Kian would never trust. She's too sm...
Throughout the entire ride, Ellie kept her face towards the window. Buildings of all shapes and sizes whizzed by like the thoughts flying through her mind and the emotions flying through her body.
She was calmed, but she was still sensitive to spiraling if the right button was pressed.
After Kian had told her to shut up, she did. She stopped moving and fighting and tried her best to figure out what the hell just happened.
Kian had tried to talk to her, but he wasn't explaining anything so she ignored him. The only thing that interested her was when he informed her that the girls were safe and that they were heading to their respective homes and would be protected.
When he started to ask her if she was okay for the billionth time, she turned away.
Kian eventually got tired of trying and instead turned his attention to Vivek and Asher who was sitting in the front. She tuned into their conversation, but she couldn't understand what they were saying. It was like they were speaking in codes.
The hope of returning to her home was thrown out of the window when they missed her exit a half hour ago. They weren't heading to Kian's apartment either because it wasn't even in this direction. She thought about asking Kian where they were going, but the ball in her throat was still thick.
She closed her eyes, trying to digest it, but the sound of gunshots rang in her ears again. The vision of cotton flying around her flickered vividly behind her eyelids. She quickly peeled them open and the first person she saw was Kian.
The look she saw on his face at the club was still there. He looked sad. Remorseful.
She noticed his hands itched to hold hers but didn't.
The turn on a rocky road made her look away at the trees that begin to thicken around her. They were on a dirt road now and what she saw when it ended was unbelievable.
It was a freaking mansion.

Ellie couldn't help but note that the home was absolutely beautiful.
It was bordering on being a castle, because of its size and beauty. There was greenery everywhere and it seems like the house keeps stretching.
Ellie didn't miss the fact that there were more men adorned in black attire that spread across the lawn and pressed along the walls of the white-painted mansion than there were at the club. They were a contrast to everything the home had to offer.
They had guns and looked ready for war when the house was glowing with warm lights and looked welcoming.
Was this Kian's real house?
She wouldn't be shocked if it was. The guy had more secrets up his sleeve than a magician.
The car came to a crunching stop in front of the entrance of the home. She worried about how to get in, because there was no front door, but instead a cobbled pathway that lead seemingly somewhere to the side of the house.
