Kian walked the path to his friend's hotel as if it was following the path of the line on his palm. Taking Ellie on a date wasn't premeditated at all. It was spontaneous and had no rational thinking.

Kian felt like he was doing his best to grab at straws and Ellie saying yes made him feel like he finally caught one.

The Dunmar's hotel was a hotel that he had invested in years back and always wanted to carry Ellie there the moment she mentioned that she liked traveling.

The hotel was like any other hotel in New York when it came to viewing it from the outside. However, thanks to Manny the interior of the building was turned into this travel experience. Apparently, he wanted to give his guest the opportunity to see the world on every floor of the hotel.

Giddy that the hotel was close enough to walk, Kian pulled Ellie into the lobby of the hotel. As soon as they were inside, he felt her hand slowly slip out of his as she spun around in awe. It was really a sight to behold.

He had been here a few times, even during the times it was building to put in his thoughts and ideas. Kian couldn't fault Ellie at all as she turned almost in a trance as she study the ground lobby.

It was grand in so many ways. The ceiling was almost 20 ft high and there was everything about it American. There was 3D paintings of the Grand Canyon imprinted in the floor, giving you the illusion you were walking on the rocks.  There was a wall carved like Mount Rushmore and other landmarks  of North America that decorated the lobby. The interior of the room was even carved into what looks like the White House and the front desk was a literal fish tank.

"Welcome to All Around The World! Are you traveling with us?" Kian looked over to see the front desk clerk speaking to Ellie who was marveling at the fish tank. Ellie glanced up at her confused before looking over at Kian.

She was lost on what the hell it was Kian had brought her to. She thought it would be a restaurant, but then she assumed it was a hotel and now this person is asking if she traveling with them.

Kian stepped forward to the front desk clerk that resembled a flight attendant gaining his attention. " Le Restaurante"

Ellie watched as the clerk nodded in understanding and reached for something in his drawer. He pulled out a card before passing it to Kian who took it.

Kian looked at her before gesturing to the glass elevator that Ellie realized was in the center of the lobby.

She wondered what the hell she was doing her entire time in New York. Why hasn't she ever seen this place?

Maybe because she was financially inclined.

This seemed to be very posh, of course, this is something Kian would know about.

Once in the elevator, Ellie noticed that there weren't any buttons just a circle with a red light on the side.

"What is this place?" she asked unable to wait any longer.

Kian allowed the doors to close before he smiled at her. "It's a hotel, but there's a restaurant on the roof"

The elevator started to ascend and Ellie assumed it would take them directly to the top floor, but it stopped at the first floor and so did Ellie's mouth from closing.

"Wow," she breathed as she looked around the lobby.

There were greek statues and pictures of the Eiffel Tower. The decor screamed Parisian and Ellie loved how it reminded her of her first time in Paris.

It was so romantic, so freeing, so simple.

She paused from literally drooling at the scene before her and looked over at the guy who always flashed into her mind when she thought of Paris.
