Flashback from Kian's POV
I have no idea why I agreed to this.
Maybe it was because Ellie had such a misconstrued way of thinking about me.
She swore I was nothing more than an all-black wearing sulking man who kidnaps people and sometimes a beast in the kitchen. Her words, not mine.
When I told her I play basketball from time to time, it kind of annoyed me how in disbelief she was. So, in order to prove to her that I can indeed shoot some ball I took her offer to play against her.
She stated that she was a pro in the game because she played many times with her brother, Vincent, and his best friend.
I don't believe her one bit.
I look away from Ashley who had this shit-eating grin on his face as he looked down at us. He was on the 10th floor of this apartment complex I owned.
It was shaped like a square and in the midst of it was a basketball court, a pool, and a playground. This complex was where most of my men lived along with their families mixed in with some randoms who liked the affordable rent.
I steady my eyes on my girl. She was sitting down tying up her lacings on the tennis I bought her for this, but little did she know that was hers for life.
I have never been one to buy people things, but it was something about gifting her with stuff that made me happy. Ellie could get absolutely anything from me at this point.
Especially when she was adorned in the most tightest tights I have ever seen.
It was grey and the way it stuck to her body was sinful.
It showed off her plump ass and the little bump in front of her.
I was starting to think it was a bad idea to have her out here like that. I wouldn't hesitate to put a bullet in any of these men's heads if they stared too long.
Ellie clapped her hands as if she was some coach and gestured towards me to finally throw the ball.
We had already gone over the rules of the games. It was basically shooting the ball where ever you are and getting a point because Ellie's knowledge of basketball only went as far as putting the ball in the basket.
Yet, she claimed she was a professional. Scoffs.
I chucked the ball at her as I stepped up in my all-black basketball pants set and watched in amusement as she ducked.
"Ellie, you're supposed to catch it," I told her.
"How and you literally chucked it at me. Be gentle" she snapped, turning away to get the ball. I groaned watching her bend to get the ball and knew right then I was going to lose this game.
Ellie came back and nearly try to take my head off as she threw the ball at me. I happened to catch it with one hand, palming it.
"The f**k?" she smiled innocently and I shook my head. "You really try to hit me?" I ask her walking closer to check her.
She shrugged and this time caught the ball as I gently passed it to her. I watched as she dribbled the ball with so much concentration, she even stuck out her tongue.
I went to go guard her, but when I noticed she didn't move from the spot I stood straight and raised a brow.
"You planning on moving from there?"
