The Lancaster Ball was where everyone and anyone who was rich and important attended. It was more of a grand party than some fancy ball, really.
Ellie was always invited to these balls mainly because she liked dressing up and being able to network. Plus, there were nonstop drinks from the bar.
She and Anna went once and had so much fun getting wasted she couldn't even remember how she got home.
The ball catered a low percentage of its money to the Cancer Association and Children's home as well so that was good.
Now that she knew what Kian did, she thought maybe the ball was used as some cover-up.
She can't lie, she was really excited to be going with him.
For someone who didn't want a relationship, he didn't know how permanent it would be when they step out in public with one another.
This thought made Ellie debate heavily whether she should go or not, but in the end, she was too giddy to see Kian.
The fact that he asked made Ellie blush because he was trying to do the relationship thing with her. The nagging on why he was doing it, Ellie tried to push away.
Anthony stopped bringing her out into public when he started cheating, and Kian deciding to practically show her off made her feel like a teenager being recognized by their crush for the first time.
For a second, Ellie worried Kian was going to back out because she hadn't heard from him for almost two weeks, but he reached out on Friday telling her to be ready at 6.
She hated how excited she was to see his name appear on her screen, but she couldn't help it.
When the time came, she was a bit disappointed that Kian wasn't the one that picked her up. On the ride there, she loaded her phone with selfies but decided to post them when she got home. When they arrived there, she was escorted inside the castle-like building.
In the main foyer was where she saw him. He had on an all-white suit with a white piece on the inside and a white bowtie. He looked expensive as hell. Ellie thought that white on white would have been bland, but on Kian's dark skin, it was a sexy contrast.

She can literally see his muscles as he flexed his arm to fiddle with the button in his suit as he looked around. Eventually, his eyes found her, and the way they dropped to dangerously roam her body made her shiver.
"You look so freaking ravishing right now" was his first words after he stalked towards her like some prey.
Ellie's attire consisted of a white blazer dress, considering the theme was an all-white affair. Her dress stopped a few inches above the knee and cinched to the waist with long sleeves. There was a long v-neck that showed a good bit of my cleavage and black heels to top it off.
