\\That Day\\

Ellieandra made sure she was early to work and that she kept her head down.

She knew that her chance of seeing any of the Lancaster brothers was very slim, but she still took the extra precaution to make sure that she never ever ran into any of them.

She had been working here for 4 years and she had never seen any of them and she wanted to keep it that way. Especially since her boss' threat rests over her head.

Like, how could he threaten her job and only source of income for something that has nothing to do with the job? Where would he file that?

She had concluded that he was rich and arrogant and that is what rich and arrogant people do. He was also in something dark and that made matters even worse.

Either way, she didn't need to get any more involved in whatever Mr. Lancaster was doing and hope that he respected her wishes. She was banking on turning invisible and hoping that they never cross paths ever again.

Ellie still wasn't sure why she was attacked by whoever the man is and hope to God that whoever sent him didn't send anyone else. Well, that's if he was working with someone. She hoped that he was a one-man show.

She debated calling the police and making a report but she froze every time she attempt to make the phone call. She thought about the fact that she would have to explain the fight and then how she left the man unconscious and possibly why she wasn't sure if the man was still there when she was left or not.

Ellie just decided to keep mum about it. Instead, she just tried to start training again. She hadn't gone to any classes yet, but she knew she needed to brush up on some stuff. And, she knew just who to train with. She was just waiting on his reply.

The buzzing of her phone made her look down at her desk and then back up at her drawing. She was sketching a new design for an earpiece.

This wasn't her avenue of art-which was designing tech pieces, but it would have to do. She loved painting and drawing people and nature, not tech pieces.

Her father would definitely be sad about her choice, but this is what's paying the bills right now and she had to do what she needed to do.

A soft chuckle escaped her as she read her friend's Miranda text in the group chat. Then a full-out laughed at Stacy's mention of her thong tonight.

They were planning a spontaneous night out for their friend, Gerry. Who was recently locked up--no, sorry--married and was in desperate need of a girls' night out to get her coochie juices flowing again.

Miranda's words, not Ellie's.

Randa firmly believed that ever since her blonde-haired friend got married, she wasn't having that much excitement despite, Gerry stating that she was wrong.
