The One With the Blackout

"Everybody? Shh, shhh. Uhhh... Central Perk is proud to present the music of Miss Phoebe Buffay."Rachel said handing the microphone over to Pheobe.

I placed my coffee on the coffee table and clapped along with everyone else.

"Hi. Um, I want to start with a song thats about that moment when you suddenly realize what life is all about. OK, here we go." She played a chord and the light suddenly went out. "Okay, thank you very much."

"Wow, this is so cool, you guys. The entire city is blacked out!"Rachel said happily before putting the phone back on the hook. "Mom says it's all of Manhattan, parts of Brooklyn and Queens, and they have no idea when it's coming back on."

"Wow, you guys, this is big."Pheobe said

"Pant's and a shirt? Why, mom? Who am I gonna meet in a blackout? Power company guys? Eligible looters? Could we talk about this later?"I asked my mom before hanging up.

"Can I borrow the phone? I want to call my apartment and check on my grandma."Pheobe asked
I nodded handing her the phone.

"What's my number?" She asked

Monica and I looked at her in confusion

"Well, I never call me."

"Hi everyone."Joey greeted walking in to our dark appartment with Jewish candles

"And officiating at tonight's blackout, is Rabbi Tribbiani."Ross joked

"Well, Chandler's old roomate was Jewish, and these are the only candles we have, so... Happy Chanukah, everyone."Joey said happing

"Eww, look. Ugly Naked Guy lit a bunch of candles."

We all looked out the window at ugly naked guy.

"That had to hurt!" Rachel said wincing

The phone then started to ring.

"Hello"Monica answered

"It's Chandler!" She told us before putting her ear back to the phone

"What?"Mon asked "I have no idea what you just said.

Monica pulled the phone away from her ear and handed it to me.

"Joey" He asked

"Close" I replied jokingly

"iʻm trapped in a ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacer"He mumbled

"Lucky her" I joked

"Y/n this is serious what do I do"He asked

"Are you asking me to help you seduce her" I asked

Monica Rachel and Ross looked at me with wide eyes.

"Well..would you" He asked

"I don't know Chandler have you tried talking to her"

He was silent

"No"

"So start with that"

"What would I even say."

"I don't know"

"Come on your a girl what would you want some guy to say to you"

"Your not just some guy Chandler"I reminded

He laughed under his breath.

"Oh yeah" He asked. His voice sounded seductive.

"Okay, iʻm gonna hang up before you forget who your talking to" I said before hanging up
