Veronica POV

I woke up to find I was the first one awake, stuck in Eddie's grip as he snored loudly beside me. I internally groaned, trying not to wake him as I pried myself out of his strong grip.

I stood up and looked around, finding out that I actually wasn't the first awake. Max was up.

She was over at the desk in the corner, a pack of crayons and multiple pieces of paper beside her. She was coloring, the headphones of the walkman still blasting music in her ears.

"Whatcha drawing there?" I whispered, walking up behind her and startling her.

Shit...giving the girl with trauma even more trauma.

"Sorry.."

"I'm drawing what I saw yesterday...when I was in Vecna's mind." She said lowly, continuing to color in the red filled pages. I admired the drawings, my mind not fully comprehending that she had actually been there.

Shivers went down my spine as I continued to look through the pages upon pages of drawings. I couldn't imagine being there...seeing that. Max was one tough girl, i'll give her that. Honestly if I were there, I would have just let him kill me at that point.

The more I looked at the pages, the more I realized it looked like a puzzle. My mom
and I used to always do these kinds of games when I visited her during her first time in rehab. I was actually pretty good at them.

"Wait...can I see those?" I asked, Max nodding and setting down the crayon. She gathered the papers together and handed them to me, a sudden yawn being heard behind us.

"What are y'all doing?" Nancy asked. I ignored her, setting the pieces of paper down on the desk and moving them around to piece them together. Her and Max both watched curiously, wondering what shit I could possibly be coming up with.

Is this a house...? I couldn't tell. I couldn't figure out where the last piece would go. It didn't fit like the others...

"Wait...Holy shit." Nancy mumbled, taking the last paper from me and folding it together. She then placed it in the middle of all of the papers, creating the door to the middle of the house.

Wow, so I was right.

"That's the Creel house." Nancy spoke, staring down at the drawing in disbelief.

"Creel house?" I asked, looking over at her, wondering what she was getting at.

"Me and Robin saw it at the library before we talked to Victor. That's Victor Creel's house." Nancy explained, Max looking over at us with her mouth hanging open slightly.

Oh, shit.

"So this is all confirmation basically...it's all linking up. Victor Creel really didn't kill his family...it was Vecna." I thought out loud, Nancy looking over at Max with wide eyes.

"Wait...so how long has the upside down actually existed...?" Nancy asked, Max lost deeply in thought.

I didn't really know what "Upside Down" meant, but I just went along with it.

"Apparently since Victor Creel was accused of murdering his entire family." I said, Max and Nancy looking back down at the picture with shock on their faces.

"We have to go...like now. This is confirmation about everything we've found!" Nancy exclaimed, Steve suddenly stirring and his eyes opening at the sound of Nancy's voice.
