I decided to wait until after Vic and I were done with our small date before I worried about what Wade had to say. I began to read the letter my dad sent me.

"What does it say?" Vic asked, glancing over at me.
"He wants to see us–Jenna, Mom, and I–he says he wants to apologize," I took a bite out of the ice cream I was holding, my eyebrows furrowing as I read over the letter again. It doesn't make sense after everything he's put us through. A couple of months in jail isn't enough to reform a mind like his.
"Do you think you should?" Vic asked, putting an arm around me. We sat on a bench connected to a picnic table in front of the river, and we had a perfect view of the sunset. I shrugged watching the water while it moved, the sun gleam dancing on the waves.
"I don't know. I'm curious honestly, but I'm not sure if I want to hear what he'll have to say about the babies." I admit, running a hand over my bump. There's no hiding it. Especially with how warm it was outside. We would all bake under the sun if I attempted to hide this bump.
"If you do decide to pay him a visit, there's absolutely nothing he could say about them that would be true," Vic put a hand on my tummy before leaning down, his mouth now next to my stomach.
"You guys are going to be perfect. If you go see the bad man don't let him convince you you're not," He then littered kisses all over my stomach. This man was trying to make me melt.
With a soft smile on my face, I ran my fingers through the strands of his silk like hair gently, "You're so sweet."

"You make me sweeter," he stood and kissed my lips softly using his free hand to lean on the table. I felt my heart race, a burst of happiness making its way through my veins. I moved my hand up to hold the back of his neck to keep him there longer. Tilting his head he lulled me deeper into the kiss, making me hum against his lips. Our lips moved together in sync slowly, as I felt his hand that was already around me rubbing my side. "You drive me crazy," Vic mumbled against my lips, biting the bottom one gently as he pulled away from them.

"Oh, Jaime says that we're going to the mall tonight. Are you and Vic coming?" Justin asked me. We were in art class, and I had just finished a piece I had been working on for almost a week.
"I don't see why not. Especially since you said Jaime is going to be there. I swear if we weren't their boyfriends, they'd be boyfriends," I laugh lightly.
"You're not wrong, those two are inseparable when they're together. Damn butt buddies," Justin rolled his eyes jokingly.
"I need to go shopping for our little ones anyway, I want to start preparing our space." I told him, pushing my artwork forward, so I wouldn't accidentally hit it.
"So you guys officially decided to move into our house?" Justin asked.
I shook my head, "No, I honestly think the best choice would be Vic's house. We haven't talked to his parent's about it yet though." I sat back in my seat.
"Why don't you guys get your own place?" Justin asked.
"I don't think we can afford that yet honestly. We're still in school, and I don't have a job. With how far along I am I don't know if anyone is going to be willing to hire me. Especially since Dr. Montgomery says that I'm going to have to go on bed rest. Vic does make good money, but I'm not sure if it's enough to support us." I look down at my belly running my hands along the bump. It's still unreal that any of this is happening. Looking at the time I saw it was almost time to move to my last hour of the day. Since I have doctors notes I'm able to leave early to have time to beat the rush, or most of it at least.
"I'm done, I'll sit our work on the shelf, and we can go." Justin told me while putting his backpack around his shoulders.
"I was just about to tell you guys it was time to pack up. I know how sucky it is to try to weave in between students that far along." Mrs. Roosevelt said glancing at me from her computer.
I gave Mrs. Roosevelt a smile as I stood up, "Thank you I appreciate it." She's one out of three of my teachers who have been understanding while I go through this process.
