Vic laced our fingers together as we exited Dr. Montgomery's clinic. With a soft smile brushed against his lips he said, "Twenty-eight weeks, we've got about eighteen weeks left if the little ones don't come early that is." His words caused a smile on my face as well.
"We're almost there, we better enjoy our alone time while we still have it," I said playfully, but I was serious. Dr. Montgomery said that the babies were healthy and that I was doing everything right so far which made me so happy to hear. Now, it's really time to start preparing for the babies to get here. Vic opened my door for me and offered his hand, so he could help me sit in my seat. Lately I've been so sore everywhere, so doing things such as getting up, or even sitting down has been difficult. Once he made sure I was in the car properly, he got in on his side as well. It's been a couple of weeks since Vic and I made up, and things were better than ever. My boyfriend's excitement over the triplets had returned, and so had his loving nature. Everything is back on track, it's going to be nice having these last weeks to relax before the babies get here.

"Mama said that she made meat pies for lunch, so I told her we would head that way, then we'll go to the spot you got all pretty for," Vic told me as he pulled out of the parking spot.
I leaned over and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek, "You're sweet." They sounded delicious. Especially if they were packed with potatoes like they were last time. I could already taste the combination of onions, meat, potatoes, and cheese.
"Okay that sounds yummy!" I relaxed in my seat as I watched the scenery pass by. It is such a beautiful day today. The sky was bright blue with fluffy clouds that scattered everywhere. Vic had me get dressed up before our appointment because he said he wanted to take me out on a small date. I was in a white t-shirt and lavender overall shorts with a pair of original converse. Just to make myself feel prettier I did a natural makeup look, and I accessorized with a gold necklace. My practice with makeup finally came into play today, and my face turned out much better than I thought.

"So where are we going for our date?" I asked, grabbing Vic's free hand and intertwining our fingers together.
"That is a surprise," he chuckled, bringing my hand up to his lips, pressing a sweet kiss against it.
"I'll give you head if you tell me," I bargained, raising my eyebrows.
The man looked at me with wide eyes before shaking his head, "Good god baby boy, you're bad. No!" He laughed turning into his driveway.
"I almost got it," I playfully grumbled as he got out of the car.
Vic opened the passenger door before saying, "Maybe I'll surprise you later." A smirk pulled at his lips as he helped me out of the car.
"Later? I mean if lunch isn't done yet.." I suggested, a smirk now tugging at the corners of my lips.
"You make it difficult for me to contain myself," he said as we walked up to the door.
"Oops," I giggled softly. Messing with him is one of my favorite things to do throughout the day. Especially when we were so busy that I knew he would have to wait till we got home, then he'd be all over me. I tried not to let my hormones control my body as we approached the front door. When Vic opened the door my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

Why were the lights off? Vic said Mama was cooking, is everything okay?

The smell of food immediately hit my nose as we walked into the dark house.
"Why is it so dark in-" My words were cut off as the lights suddenly turned on, and multiple people jumped out and said, "Surprise!" I nearly jumped out of my skin, a yelp erupting from my throat as a hand found my bump. Hearing snapshots being taken of me, I looked around seeing multiple faces I recognized and some I didn't.
"Oh my," I laughed, the shock wearing off as I placed a hand over my fast beating heart. I noticed purple and blue streamers hung everywhere. There was a table filled with gifts and another filled with snacks. Near the fire place there were chairs decorated as thrones for Vic and I to sit. There were more gifts gathered around them.
"Welcome to your surprise baby shower!!" Justin smiled brightly coming over to me with a pin. "We're playing a shower game where you can't say the word baby! If you say it you'll lose your pins if you hear someone else say it you get to take theirs." He explained happily.
