Palihim kong sinusundan si Professor Anthea ng mahagip siya ng mga paningin ko kanina habang nakaupo sa bench. I think she's crying.
Kusa akong napadpad dito sa garden ng university na medyo malayo sa field at hindi gaanong maraming tao, actually dito ako madalas tumambay kung gusto kong mapag-isa.
I stop walking, when I heard faint sobbing mula sa hindi kalayuan.
I saw professor Anthea she's in the garden, sitting in the bench under the narra tree while resting her back, and her eyes shut while crying. Pinapahidan niya ang kanyang mga luha gamit ang likod ng kamay niya pero patuloy pa rin ito sa pag-agos.
I want to avoid her to distance myself, but I can't leave her and see her like this. She needs someone, i mean im the someone.
I walked slowly towards her while getting my handkerchief in my pocket and cleared my throat.
"Miss Anthea."
"What the hell do you want Albrecht? Leave, i wanna be alone." She wiped her tears and stared at me emotionless.I know she needs someone to lean on right now.
Umupo ako sa tabi niya, at ini-abot sa kanya ang handkerchief, "you need this."
"Leave, please i wanna be alone." She coldly muttered at tinapik ang kamay ko dahilan para mahulog ang handkerchief na ina-abot ko sa kanya.
Yumuko ako para pulutin ang nalaglag kong handkerchief at ipinagpag.
"I said leave! Are you deaf!?"
Hindi ako nag-pasindak sa sigaw niya, at tinignan lang siya habang nakaupo pa rin sa tabi niya.
Hinawakan ko ang mukha niya at dahan-dahang isinandal iyun sa balikat ko, "I'm here, you can always lean on me." I softly said while caressing her back.
"W-What the heck are you doing Albrecht!?let go off me!"inis na saad niya at nag-pupumiglas.
"You can tell me everything miss, im here and i will always be here...for you." I softly whispered and hug her waist that made her gasp.
"Please let go off me, umalis ka na!"
"Sorry kahit anong gawin mo hindi na kita papakawalan."
"Let go off me Albrecht, ahhhh i hate you!"
Mas lalo ang hinigpitan ko ang pagkaka-yakap sa kanya, "hush now, please tell me...makikinig ako."
"I know you're mad at me Elijah, just leave me!" She shout and kept hitting my arms
"Why would i?" I hugged her more and caress her back
"Because i pushed you away."
"Is that so?no matter how many times you pushed me away...i stood up and stay by your side and i don't wanna walk away. I won't give up you...i always loved you."
"What did you say?" She asked and moved a bit to face me.
"Huh?"
"The last four words."
"I always loved you, miss."
"I know." She plainly said that made me frowned in shock
"P-Po?"
"It's a long story."she said at ibinalik ang baba niya sa balikat ko. Gusto ko pa sana siyang tanungin tungkol duon pero pinagpaliban ko nalang muna.
"What happened miss?" I asked her while gently stroking her hair.
"He...cheated on me."
Napatigil ako sa paglalaro sa buhok niya ng marinig ko ang sinabi niya, magkahalong emosyon ang nararamdaman ko.
