Harry looked at Draco, yes, he decided to call him Draco now, and they were thinking similar things.

"Potter, you don't want to die, do you?"

i do. but not because im too much of a freak to eat.

"Not due to anorexia, no."

"Then we help each other."

Harry gave Draco the most confused look ever. "Mindsets- that's what eating disorders are all about, right? So what if we give each other the support we need to try and recover."

"Would it work?"

Draco pulled out his phone and began looking up recovery strategies. "For you, I suggest trying to eat something small once a day. Like a fully-green salad. A small salad. However much you can eat, you try to do it. Limit exercising and get rid of your scale."

"I- I don't think I can."

"I'll do it with you." Draco was determined to help the boy, because they were similar. And because Harry definitely had more problems, and didn't need anorexia being one of them too. "How many calories did you restrict yourself to?"

Harry bit his lip again. The answer was surely going to make Draco ashamed of him. "Three hundred."

"Holy shit, Harry, that's so much less than the healthy amount. Like, dangerously lower." Draco was wondering how Harry was alive, genuinely. "When did you start that calorie diet?"

"I don't know."

"Fuck, okay." Draco had never been more concerned in his life. It couldn't have been over a month of that diet, because surely he'd be dead. "It's about what you eat, not how much. That's what a recovered anorexic said. A small meal a day, you start there, okay?"

Harry nodded and pulled out his own phone. Draco wondered why The Boy Who Lived had an iPhone seven- a cracked one at that.

"Bulimia recovery is different." Harry began. "You need a healthy support system, and you need to get rid of your scale. Try exercising healthily, like me, and try eating a small meal a day too. Actually, I think we could try doing the same thing."

"Really?" Draco raised his brow.

"I think so."

"Okay, give me your phone number. Any time we think about relapsing, we text each other. I'll call you if you can do that. We'll distract each other."

Harry nodded.

"We'll have our daily small meals in school, at lunch, here if you want. If not, with our friends and we text each other once we have." Draco decided. "We'll facetime when we eat on weekends and holidays, okay?"

"Yes, sir." Harry saluted as a joke, smiling.

"We can do this, right?" The blond felt like panicking. His anxiety was a bitch, and apparently it didn't help his bulimia.

This time, Harry was dead sirius. "Yes, sir."

im so sorry that was mean

"We make it sound easy. Do you reckon it will be?" Harry asked.

Draco shook his head. "No, but we have each other. Support is key, right?"

"Right."

"I'll get Dobby to lock away everything I binged on, and give him my stash. Also, when was the last time you ate, properly?"

Harry began biting his lip again. "Erm, last week? It was a- a... piece of chicken, I think. Leftovers."

i threw up from the first half of it, and ate a quarter of it an hour after being sick. but you don't need to know that. what kind of freak can't eat chicken?
