HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

LATE NIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE OF JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE

It was safe to say Draco didn't remember anything Harry told him that night. Harry remembered saying something really serious, but not what.

Draco woke up first to see Potter wrapped up in his arms, a duvet placed over them by Dobby, he assumed. He never wanted to let go, but he was afraid that the brunet would be disgusted and push him away.

He cherished their friendship too much to ruin it.

For the next few weeks, Draco hid his crush on Harry whilst falling even more for him. At the same time, Harry was slowly figuring out he may feel something more than just platonic admiration for the blond boy.

They revised together, pushing down the feelings and playing pretend. They focussed on doing well in their GCSEs instead of focussing on each other. They worked on their physical health, and decided they were almost recovered.

Harry was "fine" in Vernon's eyes, so he wasn't allowed to eat there anymore, except from every few days. He was so scared to lose his progress that he would sneak out at night and eat a heavy dinner with Draco, every day.

It went from two meals a day to one big meal a day, which Harry thought was okay. His body was healthy, so was Draco's.

School was over, so now they had summer break and the only stressful thing was waiting for their results. They wouldn't be out till late August, meaning the two had two months to hang out and take their mind off it.

Draco promised Harry that he'd make this his best summer yet.

On the last day of school, Harry told Ron and Hermione about how he'd become friends with Draco Malfoy and how they were helping each other. Ron was a bit grossed out until Fred and George pranked some sense into him.

Hermione said that as long as Draco wasn't a prick, she'd be okay with it.

The new group worked quite well. Pansy and Hermione got on well, despite being polar opposites, and Ron managed to make Blaise less secretive.

With Pansy's help, Hermione finally told Ron and Harry about her relationship with Fred. Ron was disgusted but when he found out Fred made his best friend really happy, he came to terms with it.

Harry did not care.

Pansy revealed she was dating Daphne Greengrass, much to Draco's surprise. There was an unspoken decision between Mr Greengrass and Mr Malfoy that their children would marry and make an heir for the two successful family companies.

Draco was glad to be rid of the burden his father placed upon him. There was always Astoria, but she claimed to be asexual and aromantic, and surprisingly, Mr Greengrass approved of that.

Ron was single, so was Blaise. Blaise apparently had the biggest crush on Neville, and Harry had to pinch Ron incredibly hard to stop the ginger from exposing the fact that it was a requited crush.

The six of them were having a picnic, but not in Draco and Harry's field. It was the first weekend since school had broken up.

"Ron, you thinking of getting with anyone?"

"Honestly, I'm quite alright being single at the moment." That was a lie. He was pining for an Indian twin. "What about Harry?"

Harry's head shot up. He was in the middle of eating a small sandwich. "What about me?"
