"Katherine is my-" he repeated. "I heard you the first time" I stopped him by holding my hand up. "This is just crazy" I said to myself. "How is it that I try my very best to stay as far away from that boy. I mean I'm in another country for gods sake and yet someone is still somewhat linked to him" I ranted. "I'm sorry ?" Ashton said hesitantly. "No dude, I'm sorry" I said with a half smile to show some sympathy.

"It is what it is" he shrugged. "So why is she your ex ?" I asked curiously. "The same reason he's yours" he chuckled. "Wait what" I said as I stopped in my tracks. "Are you being serious ? She cheated on you ?" I asked in shock. "Sadly yes, but I guess it was a blessing in disguise" he said casually. "Oh my god Ashton...I'm so sorry" I said. "Don't be, I'm not" he laughed. I love how he doesn't care. "This is still such a shocker to me. What a small world" I said baffled. "Literally" he replied. "You, however, seem to be taking the cheating thing really bad..." he trailed. "Me ?" I scoffed. "Oh my word please, it's not me, it's Hero. I think the boy needs help" I half laughed.

"Enlighten me" he raised a brow. "Not really much to add from what you already heard last night to be honest. Basically for the longest time he tried to get back with me, but I'm not someone who can tolerate or look past lies and especially disloyalty. It's literally the bare minimum in any relationship and if a guy can't even do the bare minimum then that's just straight up disrespectful and just shows that he doesn't care" I began ranting. He nodded along to my story.

"Obviously she had something that I didn't" I stifled a laugh which made Ashton laugh as well. "No idea in what I'm lacking but I couldn't care, obviously we're not meant for one another. He clearly lost interest in me and easily moved on with someone else behind my back. She surely showed him a good time that I possibly couldn't" Ashton lost it after I said that, our joint laughter only got louder which made us earn some stares.

"You're a gorgeous girl and not forgetting funny, he took a big L to cheat on someone like you" he said with his hands in his pocket. "You do realise you just dissed your ex and that you too once dated her right ?" I questioned. "I speak nothing but the truth and couldn't care. She lost all the love and respect that I had for her. She can get lost from my side, I really don't give a shit" he said casually. Wow. "Tough love jeez...she broke your heart that bad huh" I raised my brows. "Hate to admit it, but I'll be a man and say yeah. Low-key still heartbroken. Always avoided committing myself into a relationship for that very reason, heartbreak. I was in love and I was so convinced she was the one until she pulled that" he said. Damn.

I sighed out loud. "Damn we took honesty hour a bit too seriously. Well thanks for trusting me enough to tell me all of that, you didn't have to" I gave him a small smile. "I know...but I needed to get that off my chest. No better person to tell that information to unless you've been through the same" he smiled back. "Well chin up, your special someone is out there, you just gotta be a little patient. Enjoy and make the most out of your life in the mean time" I said as we were nearing the entrance of the hospitality. "Couldn't agree more...but you know what would be funny ?" He said hesitant to say his next line. "Do tell" I said eagerly. "Just like they cheated on us, it would be the talk of the town if we got together" he suggested. Oh my. "Hmm...never thought of that" I pursed my lips.

Is he being serious ? Luckily he didn't continue the conversation as we entered the hospitality. I need to tell the boys about this. To my luck, as this is a night race, Jessica actually wanted to do a 'photoshoot' before any on track action occurred. Ashton was obviously going to be her photographer. "See yah" he said especially to me with a soft smile before trailing behind Jessica.

"What was that about ?" Michael teased. "Guys I need some tea to calm me down" I said as I walked past them to the cafeteria. "I swear you make race weekends more exciting besides physically being here" Daniel said. "Excuse me ? So basically you only like my company because of gossip" I raised a brow. "Now you're just putting words into my mouth" he said. I grabbed my tea and sat at an empty square table. Daniel grabbed his coffee and sat beside me, whilst Michael sat across and Blake on my other side. "I see you made a new friend" Michael started. I shook my head slowly and closed my eyes. "I swear Hero is haunting me guys."
