Since Michael had left me alone, the only way for me to kill time was to go out and eat or doing something typical that tourists would do.

I had decided on going out for lunch, on my own unfortunately, but it was nice to just be away from a crowd for once. It was soothing, much needed for me.

After going out for lunch, I headed back to the hotel to get me a driver that could take me to Rodeo Drive because I sure was in a mood for shopping.

I thought it would only be window shopping but I lied to myself. Of course I'm going to spoil myself, you feel ? I did quite a lot for my first day here. Yo girl loves shoes, so I bought myself over 5 pairs. Living my best life clearly. Other than shopping, I was sure to take as much pictures as possible to keep up an aesthetic looking feed for my Instagram.

After I was satisfied with shopping, I called up the driver and was on my way back to the hotel. As I stared out the window admiring the view, my phone had started to ring which disrupted me. Expecting it to be Michael, it was just my mum. Gotta love this woman.

"Helloooo" I answered cheerfully. "Hi sweetheart, how are you doing ? How's LA ?" She asked. "I'm doing good, how are you and dad ? Seems like you guys are missing me and LA is amazing, I'll bring you both along with me next time" I smiled. "We're both fine. We are missing you, the house is really quiet without you around. Theirs always next time" she said as she sighed. "Aww I miss you guys too. I can imagine the house must be dead without me. I actually thought that you both would be glad that I'm gone, you'll finally get a break and don't have to worry about dealing with my moods" I said as I laughed.

"As much of a nuisance you can be when you're moody, you're still missed. Hopefully this trip away fixes your attitude" she said as she laughed at the end. "Oh wow thanks mum" I said sarcastically as I shook my head. She started to laugh at me, "But any who I'm doing fine on my own and don't miss me too much because I'll be back before you'll even know it" I said as I pursed my lips. "Okay honey, take care of yourself" she said, I could just imagine her smiling now.

"Thanks mum, I will don't worry" I said before I was thinking of ending the call. "Oh I forgot to ask !" She said as she brought to my attention. "What ?" I asked curiously. "Did you meet up with Michael yet ?" she said, the tone of her voice changed when she mentioned his name. "Oh god mum" I shook my head as I started laughing. This woman. "What ? I want to know if theirs progress" she said casually. "Mum, it ain't going to happen. He only sees me as his friend" I said in an obvious tone. "Well, that's what you think. I believe theirs something more to the both of you, you both would be so cute together and his mum agrees" she cooed.

"You guys are actually plotting to get the both of us together, I'm shooketh right now" I said in disbelief. "You still didn't answer my questions" she said seriously. "Well yeah I saw him but not for long" I sighed. "Why not ?" she asked worried. "He had to leave to meet up with a friend but I'll see him soon...maybe that friend is his girlfriend" I suggested. "I highly doubt it, he probably only had eyes for you" she cooed again in excitement. "Oh god...I can't go on about this anymore. I gotta go, I just reached the hotel. I love both you and dad. Please take care of yourselves, I'll possibly Skype you guys later" I said as I got out of the car.

A staff member helped carry my bags and followed me to my room. "Okay love you, stay safe and make an effort. Bye" she said lastly before ending the call. As much as she can drive me insane sometimes, I love her so much. I tipped the guy and laid back on my bed as I stared up at the ceiling. I could honestly go to sleep right now in this position but the sun light was blinding me as the sun was setting. I dropped my belongings to walk outside to my balcony to admire the scenery before me. The beach was right across the hotel so I had one of the best views in LA, that's for sure.

The slight cold breeze running through my hair and the golden hour moment was the perfect opportunity for me to take a selfie or possibly post something on my social media.

I recorded a video of the scenery before switching the camera around to face me as I pouted then smiled before ending the video I captioned it with just 'V I E W S' before posting it onto my story. Just after posting, I came across a post by Michael which was a few minutes ago. It was a video of him on a run by the beach - maybe from earlier that he just so happened to post now - I couldn't help but notice the guy who was running in front of him, he had curly hair, he was tall and he was damn fit for sure.

I unfortunately couldn't see his face but his back profile sure is fine af. Talk about his calf muscles and his toned triceps like good god help me because I think I'm drooling that too over a stranger. Just when I closed all my apps and walked back into the room to lay on the bed, my phone had started ringing again and this time it's Michael.

"Look who finally knows me" I said sarcastically as I answered the phone. "I unfortunately haven't met you before so I don't know you doll" said a not-so-familiar voice on the other end.
