I paced around my room, deep in thought. Breakfast had passed with the same usual chatter. And as always, with Ryoko being a total bitch.
That girl gets worse every day! One day, I will not hesitate to slap her. Or punch her!
But that's beside the point. I was busy trying to figure out who I could kill time with. I couldn't decide...
Well, anyone except Ryoko, that's for sure.
Gah, what am I saying? Just thinking about her pisses me off! Why is she always in my head anyway? It's like she and her little speeches have weaselled their way in there and are now playing on loop.
I clenched my fists and took a deep breath.
"Shit. I need to calm down..."
Wait...Calm down. Spend time...
There's one person who's perfect for that! A person that can talk and calm me down...A certain psychologist!
Kenjiro it is.
But wait. Now I'm curious...How does he talk to people one on one? In front of me and others, he definitely struggles to get words out. But apparently - according to Satoshi at least - he's an expert during their sessions.
Well, it's not like I'm going to him for a session. It is really just me looking for someone to hang out with. I am still curious though.
With my mind made, I grabbed my bag and headed over to Kenjiro's lab.
Once I arrived, I closed my hand and knocked on the wooden door a total of three times and then stood by, waiting for an answer.
A few moments passed with no signs of a reply from Kenjiro.
"Jeez, is he not here or something?" I wondered, knocking again. I then paused and noticed through the small window in the door that Kenjiro was busy in there speaking to Satoshi.
Well, I'm not that surprised. These two meet practically every day. I suppose I should just wait until he's done. It seems like Kenjiro didn't even notice my knocking.
I just stood around his lab for a few more minutes until I heard the sound of the door finally opening. When I glanced back, I saw that it was Satoshi who was leaving the lab while fixing his leather jacket. That's when his eyes landed on me while I still paced around.
"Uh, what are you doing?" He tilted his head, closing the door behind him while clearly sounding confused.
"I was waiting for Kenjiro to be available. Obviously." I crossed my arms.
"Oh. I didn't know you needed to talk to him too." He rubbed the back of his head.
"I-It's not like I need to. I just have some free time, so I chose to talk to him. No big deal." I said. "Why? Worried I'll waste your little boyfriend's time?"
Satoshi just sighed. "Why are you like this...?"
"W-What do you mean by that?!?" I exclaimed but then noticed the notebook in his hands. "Hold on...that's where you write, isn't it?"
"Huh?" He took a step back, but then realised the book was still in his hands. "Oh, that. Yeah...Kenjiro keeps encouraging my writing. He says it's a good way for me to clear my mind and let my thoughts flow onto paper. He's not wrong. He even read some of my stuff. Turns out Kenjiro...is really into it. The guy is already waiting for more."
"Seriously?" I perked up. "Damn. It must be good if he's already waiting for a sequel. When can I read it?"
Satoshi then froze up, holding the book to his chest. "U-Uh...I..."
