"If Yuna is innocent then Kairi is the only person left who is capable of killing Akihiro." I declared
"...Huh?" Kairi simply replied, turning to me.
"K-Kairi?!?" Yuna exclaimed. "But...Kairi is my friend! She would never do this!"
"How can you say that after she completely threw you under the bus...?" Satoshi reminded her.
"I-I..."
"What about Kokoro?" Ryoko spoke, ignoring Yuna's now conflicted expression. "You said she was just as much of a suspect as the other two."
"I only said that because she was in her cabin. In actuality, there was no way Kokoro could have had the remote. She never had the chance to take it in the first place." I explained. "And even if she did, she wouldn't be able to give it back to Yuna for her to drop it."
"Yes! Chiyo is so right!" Kokoro gleamed. "I can't be the killer! But...Kairi?!?"
"Kairi is our only suspect left if we e-excuse Yuna." Kenjiro stuttered.
"So...Kairi murdered Akihiro?!?" Shouko glared at the sailor. "Why would you do-"
"What a dumb idea." Kairi sighed, shaking her head at us all. "Seriously...Is your head properly screwed onto your shoulders?"
"What do you mean?" I faced her. "Aren't you going to confess?"
"Confess?" She repeated, crossing her arms. "Confess to what? A murder I did not commit? As if..."
"Then what are you trying to say?" Kenjiro wondered.
"If Kokoro never had a chance to take the remote, how would I, huh?" She interrogated. "Sounds pretty impossible, doesn't it? So obviously I can't be the killer. That makes Yuna the prime suspect yet again."
"H-Huh?!?" Yuna gasped. "But-"
"Was that hard?" Kairi tilted her head. "For someone so interested in crime I thought you'd know something like that by now."
"Hey!" I perked up. "What are you trying to say?"
Wait...Kairi has to be wrong though! She had a clear chance to not only use but return Yuna's remote without the technician noticing a thing!
I just need to make that clear...

"You told me yourself, remember." I began. "You and Yuna were together last night. In fact, you were the one who went to her cabin in the first place. Now wouldn't that give you plenty of time to use Yuna's remote and then put it back as if nothing had happened?"
