"So what are you going to discuss now?" Shimura crossed his arms over his chest and glared at me as he began to speak. "You were the one who wanted to carry on. So by all means, go ahead."

"Right." I sighed. "Even though we all know who the killer is, we should still be certain as to what happened last night."

"To do that, we'd have to make a proper timeline of events." Satoshi then nervously glanced at Shimura. "Y-You are going to help us with that...right?"

"Depends." He shrugged.

"On what?!?" He sputtered, exasperated.

"On if I think you guys really need to know or not."

"Seriously man?" Shouko pouted. "How the hell did Aki like you when you acted like...this?"

Shimura just rubbed the bridge of his nose before pushing his glasses up with a deep breath, brushing Shouko off. "...Anyway-"

"Actually," Kenjiro spoke up, fiddling with the hem of his jumper. "I've been...thinking about something."

"What's up?" I wondered, looking over at the psychologist.

"It's just...since Shimura faked his death - if he got caught at least - wouldn't he be punished by Monokuma? Especially if he got seen on the cameras."

"I'd understand how he got away with it if he were the mastermind. But if Shimura wasn't...how did he get past the cameras to eventually murder Ryoko?" Satoshi thought to himself, thinking to himself, yet pausing and turning to Shimura. "Uh- I mean, I should probably ask you for the answer to that! We...are talking about you after all."

"Oh no. You go ahead." Shimura dismissed him.

"But...you can just tell us the answer and get this over with." Shouko attempted to reason with him but to no avail.

"Now why would I want that?" He scoffed.

"What...are you saying?" I asked.

"Nothing." Shimura then averted his eyes. "It's just that this trial will go on until I believe you guys are actually ready to vote. Until...everything is clear and certain."

What does he mean by that...? Any normal murderer would want us to screw up and get the blackened wrong for them to escape.

So why does Shimura who was suspicious just a few moments ago, want us to get this case so desperately right?

"Let's get back on track..." Kenjiro tried to guide us all. "As I asked earlier, how did Shimura get past the cameras?"

Well...if Shimura wants us to get stuff right to actually end this trial, then this is a good place to start I suppose.

"This is it!"

"The answer to that is simple!" I replied, detailing what I knew. "First we need to recall the mastermind's room that was announced."

"You mean...the one offered to us from that one motive?" Shouko responded.

"Exactly." I confidently nodded. "I actually managed to access it during the investigation."

"S-Seriously?" Kenjiro gasped. "You solved the riddle?"

I momentarily made eye contact with Shimura and sighed. "Uh, kind of. The point is that the mastermind's room had much more than just weapons - whoever was in it would have access to the cameras and would be able to momentarily shut them down."
