The one and only part 3, chapter 22: "
Jax's Gift"

At the Quartermaine Mansion—The next day—Alan was pouring coffee when Skye entered.
"Skye... I heard about Brenda, and she will not get away with this. I will use my power to keep her in jail," Alan said.
"Dad, you sound like Grandfather," Skye replied.
"Good. Brenda hurt you, and many others could have died in the bombing," Alan responded.
"Yes, they could have. The girls could have," Skye said.
"Yes. We will use our power and put her away," Alan affirmed.
"Thanks, Daddy," Skye said.
"You're welcome. You and the girls are welcome to stay here as long as you like," Alan added as Monica entered.
"This is my house, Alan," Monica said.
"Yes, but I'm sure you're okay with Skye staying here," Alan responded.
"Yes, I am. Skye, you and the girls can stay as long as you want," Monica agreed.
"Thank you. Right now, I think it's best if we stay here. It's too hard at the lake house," Skye stated.
"Whatever you need," Monica said.
As Tracy came in, she said, "So, Skye. Are you going to do the right thing and give ELQ back to us—the rightful owners of ELQ?"
"Why, sure I," Skye asked.
"You haven't run ELQ since Jax died. I'm sorry he died; I cared for him too, but it's time to move on," Tracy said.
"Move on! How dare you! If I give up ELQ, I wouldn't give it to you. Now I'm meeting Alexis to go over Jax's will," Skye said and left.
"Tracy, you crossed the line, telling Skye to move on," Alan told her.
"Skye needed to. That's why she's taking her anger out on Brenda," Tracy responded.
"Really? You were helping my daughter?" Alan asked.
"Yes," Tracy confirmed.
"You can't believe that," Monica said.

At the police station—Brenda's cell—Brenda was in her cell when Alexis came by.
"Will you be my lawyer?" Brenda asked.
"No. You killed Jax. I will make sure you go down for this and have nothing left. Was it worth it now? Trying to kill Skye for Jax, and now you're all alone without him," Alexis said.
"No, it was a mistake," Brenda admitted.
"A big one, and you'll pay—I will make sure of it," Alexis vowed and left.

At Alexis's office—Carly was waiting for Skye and Alexis when they arrived.
"Where's Alexis?" Skye asked.
"I don't know," Carly responded.
"Oh," Skye said as Alexis entered.
"Good, you're both here," Alexis said.
"Alexis, please promise me you will not be Brenda's lawyer," Skye begged.
"No, I will not help Brenda; she will go down for this. Now, let's get to the will," Alexis replied.
Skye and Carly sat down, and Alexis began reading the will.
"Jax left trust funds for Lila Rae, Josslyn, little Rae, and any baby you and Jax would have had, but they can't access it until they are eighteen. So you both will be in charge of it for your daughter," Alexis explained.
"What about Jax's company?" Skye asked.
"That's where it gets complicated," Alexis said.
"How so?" Carly asked.
"Jax left the company for both of you to run—together," Alexis explained.
Skye and Carly exchanged looks.
"Well, I guess we could do that. We are getting along," Skye said.
"Yeah. I do need a job," Carly added.
"I suppose I could give ELQ back to my family," Skye said.
"Anything else?" Carly asked.
"Yes. Jax left both of you some money, and Skye, you get the house and jets," Alexis said.
"Thanks. I just don't care for all this," Skye admitted.
"I know. We all want one thing we can't get—Jax," Alexis said.
"Yes," Skye agreed.
"He loved all of us in different ways," Carly said.
"Yes, he did," Skye replied, taking Carly and Alexis's hands.
"When Josslyn gets older, does she get the company?" Carly asked.
"When Lila Rae, Josslyn, Little Rae, and Skye's new baby grow up, they will be running it," Alexis answered.
"Jax is bringing us all together," Skye said.
"Yes," Carly agreed.
