The One and Only Part 3, Chapter 47

At General Hospital—Alan and Monica were waiting in the hallway for news about Skye. "Alan," Monica said, "Skye has to make it." "She will," Alan replied. "I hope so," Monica hoped.

In the operating room—Dr. Kelly and Dr. Drake were working on Skye when she woke up. "What is going on?" Skye asked. "Skye, you're awake," Dr. Drake said. "Yes," Skye confirmed. "Do you know what happened to you?" Dr. Drake asked. "I was shot at," Skye said. "Yes, you were. We were going to take the twins while you were in a coma, but now we won't," Dr. Kelly explained. "Are they okay?" Skye asked. "Yes, we just need to do an ultrasound, but they should be fine," Dr. Kelly reassured. "Let's take you back to your room," Dr. Drake suggested.

At Kelly's—AJ was there with Lila Rae, having ice cream. "Uncle AJ, do you promise that Mother will make it?" Lila Rae asked. "Yes, I promise your mother will make it," AJ said as Carly entered and approached them. "AJ... Lila Rae," Carly said. "Mrs. Corinthos," Lila Rae said. "You can call me Carly. How are you?" Carly asked. "Okay. My mommy is sleeping right now, but she will wake up," Lila Rae said. "Yes, she will," Carly replied. "Lila Rae, why don't you go play some music?" AJ asked. Lila Rae went to play. "You're good with her," Carly said. "Wow, Carly, I'm good with kids," AJ responded. "How is Skye?" Carly asked. "Not good. Skye took a turn for the worse, and they have to take the twins... Skye has to make it," AJ explained. Carly took AJ's hand. "Skye will. You have to believe that," Carly encouraged. "Thank you," AJ said.

Back at General Hospital—Alan and Monica were waiting for news about Skye when Dr. Kelly and Dr. Drake came by. "How is Skye?" Alan asked. "Right before we could operate, Skye woke up," Dr. Drake said. "That's great... I want to see Skye," Alan said. "You can. I just need to do an ultrasound on Skye," Dr. Kelly said. "Thank you," Alan replied. "I will call AJ," Monica said. "Thanks, Monica... this is great news," Alan said. "Yes, it is," Monica agreed. Alan left to see Skye, and Monica called AJ.

At Kelly's—Carly and AJ were talking when AJ's phone rang. "Mother, how is Skye? What? That's great," AJ asked, then hung up. "Skye woke up... she's going to be just fine," AJ said. "Good," Carly replied, just as Lila Rae came over. "Lila Rae, your mother woke up," AJ said. "Cool! Can I see her?" Lila Rae asked. "Yes, let's go," AJ said and left.
