The One and Only, Part 3, Chapter 42

At General Hospital, in Skye's room, Skye was lying in bed while Alan held her hand as Monica entered. "Alan, I know you're worried about Skye, but she will make it," Monica said. "You're a doctor, Monica. I'm sure you have read Skye's chart," Alan responded. "Yes, I have, but I have hope too. Skye is a Quartermaine; she's a fighter," Monica replied. "She has to make it for the twins," Alan said. Monica put her arms around her husband as Alan cried for Skye. "I know," Monica said. "Skye just has to make it," Alan insisted.

At the church, AJ entered and lit a candle. "God, I know I'm not perfect, and neither is my sister, but this isn't what Skye deserves—losing her husband and now this. Lila Rae and Rae need Skye. We all do. I was lost without my sister—she's the one who believed in me, was on my side, and told me when I was in the wrong," AJ said as Emily entered. "Emily," AJ greeted. "I wish I remembered Skye, but I don't want her to die," Emily said. "I know," AJ replied. They clasped hands and said a prayer for Skye.

At the jail, in her cell, Brenda was present when Alexis entered. "I'm going to make sure you stay in here for the rest of your life, where you can die here. You shot Skye, who is pregnant and now in a coma. Do you hear that?" Alexis asked. "Hear what?" Brenda asked. "Jax's heart is breaking in two," Alexis said before leaving.

At General Hospital, in Skye's room, Alan was there when AJ entered. "Dad," AJ said as Dr. Drake came in. "We need to discuss Skye and life support," Dr. Drake stated. "Dad, don't pull the plug," AJ begged. "I'm not going to pull the plug on Skye. We will keep her on life support. She will wake up," Alan assured. "Yes, Dr. Quartermaine," Dr. Drake said and left. "Thank you, Dad," AJ said. "I'm not going to give up on your sister," Alan promised. "No, we will, and we will watch over Lila Rae and Rae," AJ added. "Yes, we will. Quartermaine brothers take care of each other," Alan said. "Yes, we do," AJ agreed.
