The one and only part 3, chapter 23

At the police station—Brenda's jail cell—Brenda was inside when Alan stopped by. "Alan... I heard you're alive. It's good to see you," Brenda said. "Brenda... I know you for a long time, but you went too far when you put the bomb in the hotel. You could have killed my whole family, and you will pay," Alan responded. "Alan..." Brenda started. "Don't... I'm now just the man my father wants me to be," Alan said, then he left. Brenda sat in her cell, feeling all alone.

At Skye's house—Skye was gathering some of the girls' belongings when there was a knock at the door. It was Blair. "Blair. I thought you went back to Llanview," Skye said. "I'm leaving, but I need to take care of something first," Blair replied. "What is it?" Skye asked as another person appeared by the door. "Mrs. Jack, I'm Lorenzo Alcazar's lawyer, Bill," he introduced himself. "Oh. So that's why you're here, Blair," Skye said. "Lorenzo Alcazar left a trust fund for Lila Rae and the house, and the power goes to you along with this letter," Bill explained. "Did Blair get anything?" Skye inquired. "Yes. Lorenzo left Blair ten million, but mostly, you get everything," Bill said. "Thank you," Skye responded. "Yes, thank you," Blair added. Bill left. "Today, I had another reading of my husband's will. I have all this money and power, and no one to love," Skye said. "I'm sorry about your husband. He did love you... I could tell," Blair said. "Thanks," Skye replied. "Lorenzo loved you too... He only married me to stick it to you," Blair said. "Is that why you did it?" Skye asked. "I needed money. But you're right, it's not what matters anymore," Blair responded. "No," Skye agreed. Blair left. Skye went into her bedroom, picked up her jacket from Jax, and sniffed it. "Oh, Jax. I miss you," she said, then took the jacket and her other bags and left.

At the courthouse—In a judge's office—the judge was inside when Alan entered. "We need to talk about Brenda Barrett's case. If you want to be taken seriously, you will help me," Alan said. "You're just like your father," the judge replied. "Thank you," Alan responded.
