The One and Only Part 3, Chapter 41

At General Hospital—an ambulance arrived with Skye and Alan, who were holding her hand. "I want the best care for my daughter," Alan said. "Yes, Dr. Quartermaine, we will take care of Skye and the twins," Dr. Darke replied as Carly, Monica, Michael, AJ, and Alexis entered. "Skye has to make it," Carly said. "Why do you care? What is your real motive in getting close to my sister?" AJ asked. "For once, I'm not after money. Skye and I are friends because we're both mothers of Jax's children, and we hate Brenda even more," Carly explained. "I don't believe you," AJ said. "AJ, not now," Monica interjected. "Thanks, Monica," Carly said. "Don't," Monica replied. "Alexis, can you press the changer against Brenda for this?" Carly asked. "I will," Alexis responded. "Skye and the twins have to be okay," AJ said. "I'll go see what I can find out," Alan said and left.

"AJ, I know you're scared, but Skye is going to be fine. Your sister is a fighter," Monica reassured him. "Yes, she is. We just found each other again, and Skye was so happy with Jax that she didn't want to open her heart again, but she did," AJ said. "I know. I'm glad you, Skye, Alan, and Emily are back together," Monica added. "We Quartermaines will be on top again, just like Grandfather wanted," AJ declared. "Yes, he did," Monica agreed.

"Mother, are you worried about Skye?" Michael asked. "Yes, I am. Since Jax's death, we've gotten closer with Josslyn and Lila Rae. Skye has to make it for Lila Rae," Carly said. "Yes, she does," Michael agreed. Alan re-entered with Dr. Drake. "What's going on with my sister?" AJ asked. "Skye is in a coma," Dr. Drake replied. "What about the twins?" AJ continued. "For now, we'll leave them. It's too early to take them," Dr. Drake said. "No, I want to see Skye," Alan insisted. "Me too," AJ said. "One at a time," Dr. Drake responded. Alan left.

In Skye's room—Skye was lying in bed with her eyes closed when Alan entered and took her hand. "I love you, Skye. It took us a long way to get this close, and I'm glad we did. Come back to us. Lila Rae and Rae need you, and so do the twins. You have a lot to live for," Alan said.
