The One and Only, Chapter 12, Part 3

At the Quartermaine Mansion, Alan was looking at a picture of Skye and Jax when Monica came in. "Alan, are you okay?" Monica asked. "No, I'm worried about Skye. I pray she can handle this and not drink," Alan replied. "Skye will not drink for her children and the baby she's carrying," Monica said. "True. Did you hear about Carly?" Alan asked. "Yes. How did AJ take it?" Monica asked. "Not good. AJ wasn't happy about it at first, but Skye is right; we can't blame Josslyn for her mother's sin," Alan said. "No, we can't. I ran into Carly on the docks. She was grateful that I saved Josslyn," Monica said. "I'm glad you saved Josslyn and Lila Rae, too," Alan added. "I just don't get why Bobbie did it," Monica said. "Me neither," Alan replied as Skye entered. "Skye," Monica said. "Monica, I just want to thank you for saving my Lila Rae," Skye said. "I just did what any human would do," Monica replied. "Yes," Skye nodded. "Skye, are you staying?" Alan asked. "Thank you both for letting us stay, but I've decided to move back into the lake house with Lila Rae and me," Skye said. "Skye, are you sure?" Alan asked. "Yes, I am," Skye responded. "Skye, you're not alone. We are here for you," Alan said as he hugged her. "Thank you, Daddy. I'm glad I have you all," Skye said. "You do," Alan replied. Lila Rae came in. "Lila Rae, are you ready to go?" Skye asked. "Yes," Lila Rae replied. "Good. Say goodbye to your grandparents," Skye said. "Bye, Grandma and Grandpa," Lila Rae said. "Bye, Lila Rae," Alan said, hugging her as Skye and Lila Rae left.

"I don't think it's a good idea for Skye to stay at the lake house," Alan said. "Maybe Skye just wants to remember the good times she shared with Jax," Monica said. "Maybe," Alan agreed.

At the remaining of the Quartermaine/Howard Hotel, AJ was looking at the wrecked building when Kate came by. "What are we going to do?" Kate asked. "We are going to rebuild the hotel. We won't let this stop us," AJ declared. "No, we can save some of it," Kate said. "No, just tear the whole thing down and start over," AJ responded. "Alright," Kate agreed. "I've been thinking of a new name too," AJ added. "What are you thinking?" Kate asked.
