Peyton pov:

I was filling up my water bottle when Fallon stopped me and made me look at her, effectively making me spill some of my water.

"I was doing something!" I groaned, still trying to fill it up.

"You're annoying when you whine." She scoffed, leaning against the wall and watching me.

"So I'm not anything when I don't whine?" I wiggled my brows at her, she scowled and flicked my forehead.

"You're coming to my place to run lines, the play is in 2 weeks and I'm not fucking it up." She crossed her arms, her usual scowl ever present.

"As you wish, your majesty." I bowed sarcastically, making her flick my forehead again.

A guy jogged up to us and panted while he hunched over. Catching his breath he gave me a confused look and looked back at Fallon.

"Friend of yours?" He pointed at me, not really acknowledging me fully.

"No, what do you want?" She looked even more pissed off.

"I'm hoping you're not mad anymore so we can talk." He gave a hopeful smile. Good luck with that.

"Go fuck yourself." She pushed off the wall and started to walk away. Told ya so.

"It's not my fault! She was hanging on me!" He followed after her.

That must be Derek, he seemed pretty serious about talking things out with the goth girl. Shrugging it off I head for my last class for the day, hoping it would go by fast.

I got tossed around a bit in the stage fighting class, it didn't hurt but It was fun. Getting pulled to my feet I heard the bell ringing letting us know we could leave. Packing my shit I head for my locker to drop it off and leave.

"Dude! Dude! Dude! You have to hear this!" Matt slammed my locker shut.

"I'm getting real sick of people closing my locker when I'm not done." I huffed in frustration. He dismissed my annoyance and showed me his phone.

It read something about our band playing in an underground venue. I guess Kenji and Camilla called some favors and got it booked for us.

"We're getting paid so well!" He hugged me tightly.

"When is it?" I laughed, patting him as he set me down.

"In a couple nights, we gotta prep songs and stuff dude. I'm so hyped!" He cheered running down the hall, high fiving people and hugging others.

I shook my head and went to the parking lot. I was making my way to Kenji's swarmed car when someone grabbed my collar and pulled me away. Fallon had a pissed expression as she dragged me to her car.

"What's up, queen of darkness?" I moved her hand away and followed, my eyes looking at a confused Kenji.

"You're not skipping out, or saying 'later', or saying 'right after my band practice'. It's now, Peyton." She opened the driver side and hopped in leaving me frustrated.

Sending a text to Ken I tell him I'll be over later in the night since I'll be at Fallon's to run lines for the time being. He sent a thumbs up as a reply, telling me he was frustrated at me abandoning him.

"Get in before I hit you." She shouted from inside, making me hustle ass into the passenger side. I barely got my feet in when she took off, screeching down the road.
