Peyton pov:
Waking up In Kenji's room I found myself naked and feeling worse. My body was relaxed but tired from being with Kenji. It was way more than I was expecting but it wasn't bad per say.
Getting out of his bed I move to the bathroom to find clothes and clean myself up. Deciding to fully clean up I shower and brush my teeth, getting rid of my messy bed hair after.
Finding a pair of his pants and one of my shirts I left last time I was here I quickly tossed them on. I'm startled when the door opens to show the man, his hair in a bun while he was only wearing sweats.
"Hey…" He flushed a little and nodded. Coming in fully I avoided his gaze, feeling a little nervous and unsure what we were.
"I wasn't too rough was I?" His words caught me off guard. Feeling my cheeks warm I smile and shake my head. I had very little discomfort.
"No, I'm fine." He smiled. Coming closer he pulls me in for a very confusing kiss, breaking away with a smile.
"We don't have to talk about it yet or at all if you don't want to. If things are alright then we don't have to announce anything either. It's up to you." It was probably one of the longest sentences I've ever heard him say. All of it as kind and gentle as he was.
"Yeah… I need to think about things so let's not tell anyone anything." I felt bad shutting him down but I didn't even know if I liked Kenji. I barely like myself right now.
Nodding his head he grabbed a hoodie and pulled me with him towards the kitchen. It was nearing noon so he made lunch for us. His parents and siblings went to the zoo for the day. Thank God for the weekend.
There were a few errands I wanted to run but I felt bad about asking Kenji to drive me around all day. When we finished lunch I told him I'd be back and went out to do some things. I borrowed his longboard and a backpack for my travels.
Getting to a thrift shop I found some clothes I can have till I can get my stuff from Fallon's. I grabbed myself some snacks at the convenience store near the shop. Riding down to a dealership I ended up running into Matt, he was out jogging.
"What's up boss man." He doubled high fived me, stopping to catch his breath and stretch.
"Good. I was gonna go look at some cars." He smiled and joined me, wrapping an arm around me.
"Awesome. Let's go." He started to ramble about the party and the cool tricks Camilla taught him about break dancing. We toured the car lot, most were old, it was a local carshop.
"Anything I can help you with Ms?" A salesman comes up, he offers me a hand to shake.
"Yes. One car please." Matt answered for me, making me and the salesman chuckle.
"Are they all in good condition?" He nodded and led me down the way, explaining each car and their features to me.
We came up on an old Chevrolet Camaro. It was in pretty good condition, a nice sleek black paint, and it was cheap. Happy with this I look at the salesman and offer to buy it from him.
I signed some papers, paying a whopping total of 4,600 dollars for it. It was a steal in my case. He needed someone to cosign and I had Matt do it. Thankfully Matt knew how to forge my dads signature through years of school field trips.
We giggled as we took it out, driving off with it. We celebrated by getting food that he would pay for, some noodle place. Grabbing some for Cam, I dropped him off at home so he could hang with her.
