Peyton:

The night of the show was here, we were at an underground venue setting up our gear to play. We all were excited and dressed for the event, more than ready to rock out and have some fun.

Kenji wore some heavily tattered and patched black jeans, combat boots, and a fishnet long sleeve shirt. He kept his hair down and wore some rings on his fingers.

Matt wore a tight maroon crop top, loose black jeans that showed the line of his boxer briefs. He had some fucked up converse and a banana around his head.

Cam wore plaid red pants and a graphic muscle tee, had jewelry covering her fingers and neck, even a collar on. She kept her hair down and out of her face, some makeup of black eyeshadow and lipstick.

I wore black leather pants and a mesh tattered tank top, some boots, rings, and had my hair down and around my eyes. Setting up the final touches we did some mic checks when a familiar face came into view.

"Dylan. What's up man." He dabbed me up and waved to the others.

"Nothing much. Just following the money." He snickered at his own joke.

"Aww I thought you'd be here to see us perform." Matt said from the stage. He shook his head and pulled out a tin case, handing it off to me.

"Nah but I'm proud. This one's on me." Opening it I found 7 joints lined up ready to smoke. Chuckling, I dab him up and wish him luck with selling.

When mic check was over we grabbed some snacks and drinks before the show, chilling out backstage. We could hear people arriving as the crowd grew louder and louder.

We did a little jog in a circle, chanting our band's name as a ritual, it was for good luck. Meeting back again we all placed our hands in the middle and shouted out after 3. Moving onto the stage we found the place booked full, people shouted and screamed when we took the stage.

"Welcome! We're Achilles Heel!" They shouted and screamed in joy at us.

"Ready!?" Screams and cheers came as a reply. My eyes scanned the crowd, finding Fallon's in the middle section with Derek. Looking around some more I found Ella a little off to my right with a wide smile on her face.

"Let's go!"

The music started instantly, I was pulled into my own world as I sang. The music was blaring, people cheered and sang along. My hair covered my face as I sang my heart out, I loved to perform, it was my one passion.

Song after song played, some required me to have my guitar and others not so much. We sang Lost Cause midway through the show, making sure to make it more upbeat and less slow. My eyes found Ella's again, she sang along as best as she could, a smile on her face as she did.

Belting out the last lyrics of a song I backed up and listened to them cheer, wiping sweat from my brow. Men and women cheered for us, some calling my name, some Kenji, some Matt, and other Camilla's.

Playing Comatose was great, everyone was loving it. My eyes found Fallon's, she sang along as I did, bobbing her head and dancing lightly. Derek didn't seem to enjoy this type of scenery at all.

When it finished we were just about done, we wanted to play our final song for the people. It was new and last minute but they'd be happy nonetheless.

"We got one more for you, think of it as a surprise." They shouted and agreed, more than happy to have another.

"I wrote this for a friend of mine. I hope they're here to hear it." They shouted and whistled as the music started. Letting the music play I set my guitar down and readied to sing my lungs out.
