—Your POV—
Again, this feeling of terror and helplessness engulfed you. Did Horror just bet you off!? You felt lightly betrayed, concluding he didn't really care, and you guessed it was foolish to imagine someone that powerful and important would love you, of all people. Your heart however disagreed giving you various memories of the few times he did something nice for you, comforted you, and protected you.
But Killer's malicious tone ripped you from any hope you were sparsely clinging to.
"Kay Horror, glad you chose the right choice, but we still have to decide on a punishment for when you lose this bet." He chirped, swiveling his gaze over to you, being so pressuring you could feel it. Horror grunted from in front of you, shifting uncomfortably as you watched the familiar droplets of magical skele sweat formulating on his skull. "Ugh, do I have to? What if I win?" Horror hissed out, his voice slightly strangled for some reason.
"Because you won't." Dust chimed, flicking out a light blue tongue before slipping it back into his mouth. You shuddered, an agitated shout from down the hall catching your attention. Horror and the other skeletons seemed to hear it too, and Killer leaned into the hall and yelled a quick 'Everything ok!?' before Crooks responded with a yes. Killer leaned back in, looking slightly more pissed than he did a second ago.
"How about we decide your punishment?" Killer growled with a forced smirk, peeking into the hall every few moments. "I don't give a flying fuck." Horror mumbled, turning his head to look at you with a sorrowful look on his face, his gaze full of apology and regret. You returned the look, but yours was more so full of betrayal. "Ok me and Dust will decide, and we're not gonna tell you." Killer purred, winking at Dust who was wrapping up his recording.
"One last thing, how long are you going to keep her." Horror grumbled, lacing his skeletal fingers with your soft ones. You bit your lip closing your eyes and praying for anything under an hour. "As long a we want!" Killer cheered, his eye sockets locking with yours for a discomfortingly long time. "NO!" Horror roared, then quickly recap see himself, cursing under his breath. "Damn, he's desperate for this one." Killer mumbled, peeking into the hall again.
"Nothing over... 12 hours." Horror murmured miserably, making your breath hitch. You looked at Horror in shock, tears stinging your eyes as you rapidly blinked to get them to go away. You were now biting your lip, though your mouth was dry due to the stress hormones currently flowing around you and anxiety taking hold of your mind.
"Look she's gonna cry." Dust scorned from in front of Horror, inching the smallest bit closer as Horror blocked you from view. "If you're gonna do this stupid shit then get it over with!" Horror said, before adding; "And quit it with the fanfare!" He barked, making Dust stop recording and put his hands up mockingly.
"Hand her over Horror~." Killer spat, outstretching a gloved skeletal hand. For your life, you cling to Horror, profusely muttering apologies into the back of his tank top, staining it with your tears. "Look Cupcake, I can't refuse this... I made a bet and I'm sorry... Damn it..." Horror replied, prying you off him with little difficulty before lightly pushing you towards Killer, your attempt at scrambling away becoming infinitely useless as he took hold of you, slinging his arm around your neck in such a way to force you to look at him.
"We're gonna have lots of fun. Aren't we Dust." Killer said darkly, harshly tracing the trails of your tears with his slightly sharpened phalange, giving you a small cut. You whimpered in protest, receiving little to no avail when Killer turned towards the door.
Right where Cross was standing.
Killer immediately stiffened as he took a step away from the door, dragging you with him, and loosening his grip on you so you could look around. This was the first time you'd ever seen Cross without a scowl or frown on his face, but then again this was also the only time you'd seen his eye lights looking like targets instead of a white one and a red one. He was actually smirking at Killer, in a malicious way. "Mind if we join the fun?" He asked in an unfamiliar voice, instantly grabbing Horror and Dust's attention too.
"H-Hell no! This is our bet!" Killer snapped, flipping off the altered Cross with his free hand. Cross furrowed his brow, balking up his fists before relaxing submissively. "I'll make sure to hang around then..." He drawled before returning to the front room. Killer sighed then glared at you making you freeze. What did you do!? You had half the mind to stick out your tongue at him, but all hopes ceased when he turned back towards Dust and Horror.
"Remember Horror, just me, Dust, and your pet. Unsupervised got it?"
"Got it... now get the hell outta my room."

Oof, on a slump lately. Sorry if this chapter seemed to be boring or repeating itself, if it does just say something and I'll edit it. I just felt like I didn't put enough effort into this one, but then again I've been feeling like that about everything lately.
Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed!
