—Your POV—

Well shit, this kid was apparently keen on talking. Grant it, you were the one who asked the question, but you genuinely were expecting just like a 2 or 3 sentence answer, not a long drawn out story that even kept the surrounding guards stopped while bringing in the prisoner to listen in, and that part still surprised you.

The kid— Chara, had completely taken off the pauldron now, ogling at it in their small hands, an odd smile on their face as they played with the fraying ends. You thought back to Blue, you couldn't quite see the clearest image of him in your mind, but you were sure he was wearing 2 of the shoulder pad things, but there were tons and tons of reasons why he might've decided to wear a different pair, or otherwise.

"Haven't seen him since." Chara uttered, a wistful sigh coming from their mouth as they looked over you and the paused guards on the other side of the room. "I-I'm 15 and a half now..." Chara spoke, a crack in their voice evident as someone unexpected made their presence known.

Alphys came in, metal boots making loud ca-lank clang like noises against the hardened floor. She literally bent down and picked Chara out of the chair, supporting the frail child adequately with one arm.

"Shh... it's okay Chara, don't worry about Blue, remember what Core said... of course I miss him too... he'd want us to be just as strong and magnificent as him though, right?... Especially in his time of absence." Alphys cooed quietly to Chara, looking at the guards and doing some weird sign language thing before turning to you and smiling.

"Don't worry too much about Chara here, they get emotional when it comes to that hyperactive little skeleton... I'm surprised you even got them to talk honestly."  Alphys said with a helpless shrug, glancing at the guards again and then back to you. "I'll be in the camera room with them... I'm sure Paps wouldn't mind spending his time over here in the prison hall instead of guard duty anyway." Alphys gave a hearty chuckle at the end, bidding you farewell before exiting, leaving you alone in the guest half of the room.

It was a small wait, this time there was a tiny metal covering over the window that didn't allow you to see through, it was open earlier but you're guessing one of the guards closed it while you were speaking with Alphys.

Without warning, the gruff voice of the skeleton you were supposedly making black deals with rang out from behind the window, temporarily shocking you, but not enough so that you wouldn't understand him.

"Make it quick chick, I ain't got time for shit today." He spoke fast, purposefully, much different from the lazy bastard you spoke to just days ago. You wrinkled your nose in disgust, contemplating the words in your head before saying them.

"I have mustard... and magical cigarettes."

Immediately, so suddenly your heart skipped a beat. The metal plate flew off, the large, greedy face of the rotund skeleton was now in front of the glass, and you were glad you were sitting in Chara's chair at least 10 feet away, or you probably would've screamed.

"W-What brand, I'd kill for good mustard today." He now spoke in a less gruff, more lighthearted tone, as if to make a good impression. You looked at him awkwardly, pulling out the medium sized paper bag with said materials inside, dumping them out into your outstretched palm.

The mustard bottle read 'Grillby's' in a fancy cursive font that you couldn't say you didn't like, along with the pretty purple flames. You smiled at it, the confused snort coming from the skeleton instantly taking that expression off your face as you looked up, seeing his dull red eye lights flicker in excitement as he too scanned the items in your hand, seemingly enticed.

"Ok! That looks even better than what I asked you for, just hand it over and I'll feel you what you want." He said, though it confused you, because the glass only allowed sound and near 2D items through, not large enough for the mustard or the cigarettes.

The skeleton's previously gluttonous grin fell as he saw the dumbfounded look on your face, and proceeded to do something that made your heart skip yet another beat.

The lunatic smashed the fucking glass.

Yep, glass shards all over the floor, littering the ground with glittering little pieces of it. You near chocked on your breath over here!! Those shards flew way more than 10 feet with the kind of force he put in that blow.

You inched backwards on the seat speechless. The guard had started cursing out the skeleton and vice versa, and it would've been a laughable sight if you weren't trying to decide on what the fuck just happened so quick and efficiently.

The pathway to the now shattered window wasn't even clear, and you thanked whatever god was watching over you that you'd settled on wearing these sturdy shoes, even if they were trash at running and skipping.

Carefully, you ballerina toed across the room, making your steady way over to the window, examining the mess and just now realizing how drastically different room 69 and 11 were. It was crazy really, and you didn't have much time to question it anyways.

Swipe

Both items were snatched from you, in a rude but clearly desperate movement, and looked over profusely for any foolery. "Alright kiddo, you pass. But in the future, I'll advise you to always make the shady and suspicious gangster do his part of the deal first, especially since you're a human little lady." He purred tipping his hat and for a second making you believe he was ripping you off.

"But, it's clear you got this from my bro, and you're alive, so I'll tell you everything I know about you're friend missy."

~~~~~~~~~~
Welp. Long but not as long as the other one. I'm neutral today guys, except the fact that I did something really really fucking stupid today. Guys I frickin bit somebody. Yeah weird and out of character, but it was cool to just act out without punishment and they didn't take it all too seriously, I've been threatening to bite them for a while now... and it felt horrible at the same time so I'll just stick to not breaking rules...
Thanks for reading, Hope you enjoyed byeeee....
