Taylor's P.O.V

I had been up half the night figuring out tour dates, I had to be home for certain things this year so it was important that I was able to figure it all out. I couldn't help but think about Leah Wilson from the other day. After speaking to my mom who told me I was over-reacting and not to get so attached that was when I realised that the only one who understood her was me. Leah had sat in my lap and I had seen her be slapped. Throwing down my pen in frustration I needed to get away. Taking my keys I slipped down to the basement and took my car to the closest place I could think of for fresh air, Nashville Park.

I got out and immediately found a seat where what seemed to be a small child occupied one half so I sat on the other. I noticed that the child's pants and jersey looked like Leah's but then I shook my head. I had to forget about Leah, but I couldn't. I saw blonde curls sticking out from the hood. So I gently moved closer and at the same time she turned to me. It was Leah. She immediately began to cry so I took her in my arms and hugged her close. "It's okay Leah. Just breathe it's all going to be okay." I wondered if she had been hurt, then she pulled away from me. My shirt was wet with tears and she had a large bruise across her face where the lady had slapped her. I didn't say anything but I think she knew what I was staring at. Not just looking but staring. That was when I had seen enough. Turning to her I said, "Look Leah, I am taking you back to my apartment, where we will bath you, clean your clothes, eat and then we will talk okay." Looking down at her she replied, "Okay." Picking her up, I carried her to my car, thanking my lucky stars that I was alone and there were no paparazzi in Nashville. I could breathe here.

Leah's P.O.V

We were standing in the basement car park of Taylor's apartment block when I suddenly spoke. "Taylor..." she turned and smiled at me so I continued. "Why are you helping me?" I saw her freeze I guess she didn't expect questions from a four year old. "Because you need help squirt, and I'll bet you're hungry and my chocolate chips cookies will be the best thing you have ever eaten." Smiling I took the hand that she was offering and we set off to her apartment.
