Karlie's P.O.V
It's been two weeks since we decided that we would move, two weeks of experiencing the thrills of finding a house together. Neither Taylor nor I had ever done this before, it was all brand new. "Hey babe, what about this one?" Taylor called from the kitchen.
"Give me a minute Tay," I called from our room as I left it to check Leah who was napping before making my way to Taylor. "Okay what have you found this time?" I questioned thinking of the other five she had shown me. "You'll love this one Karlie, it has a pool, garage, two story, wooden floors and a large kitchen." She stated. I mentally checked off those things and then asked the dreaded question. "Okay how many bedrooms?" Taylor giggled and said, "Okay so fundamental house stuff now..."she said squinting at the laptop screen. "Five bedrooms, one office, one family room, one kitchen, four bathrooms, one master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and bathroom and then all the other rooms..." I smiled and looked at her while she showed me the pictures. "Okay babe, now the golden questions. Price and place?" she smiled at me and said, "Okay so I know we told Leah we were moving home's and I thought a lot about work and where we usually are right?" she questioned as I nodded. Agreeing with her. "So this particular house is in Westchester County." I stared at her. "Westchester County, but that's still here in New York." She smiled at me and nodded.
"I know Karlie, I just thought that with your modelling mainly being here in New York and most of our friends are here too like Lena, and I just. I don't know I just want to stay out here. Your parents are upstate, which reminds me we need to go and see them." I nod and take her hands in mine. "Taylor, are you sure you want to stay here in New York, because we can move to L.A or Nashville if you want to..." she cut me off by saying.
"I like it here, I don't want to go back to Nashville in the near future and most of my L.A friends don't even talk to me anymore." I nodded and kissed her temple.
"Okay, relax baby. Let's do it." I smiled and nodded at her as I said it watching her blue eyes fill with excitement and joy as she said, "Don't you want to know the price?" I shook my head at her and said, "No, if you want it we will buy it. I don't care about the cost, all I care about is our family. You, me and Leah and that we are together." I said as I watched her eyes fill with tears. I felt her reach for my face and her lips pressed against mine as she mumbled. "I love you so much." I released her and kissed her temple and saw out of the corner of my eye that the house wasn't that expensive and since we were combining our money from now on we would have a lot more.
Taylor had decided to keep all of her houses until we knew what we wanted to do with them so for now we were keeping the L.A house, Nashville apartment, New York apartment and Rhode Island house. Taylor already said she didn't want her parent's house back and Tree had told them that they could 'do whatever they wanted with it Miss Swift doesn't want anything for it.' Apparently according to Tree it didn't go down so well with Scott or Andrea but Tree pushed and eventually they caved and kept it, but Tree did take all of Taylor's awards that were scattered through the house there including her first Billboard Award. Tree had whispered to me a week later that it was hard to see that they could do what they had but I assured her that it was all true and even Taylor's label had agreed. Tree was conscious of everything to do with Taylor and took good care of her in the business sense and made sure she was always happy in her personal life. Nothing made me happier then Taylor telling Tree over the phone and in person that she felt free and happy. It always made me smile. The deal for the new house came through three days later and the bank approved it right away as Taylor got off the phone she looked at me and I looked at her and as her lips met mine in the middle of the lounge, I thanked Lena for taking Leah for the day. As Taylor and I never made it to the bedroom, instead we tore each other to pieces multiple times on the couch in the living room.
