Andrea's P.O.V
We got the call from Taylor at about 10.45pm last night to inform us that Leah was sick a viral infection and ear ache. Poor baby! However even after telling Austin this information he still wanted Taylor to bring Leah to us so he could meet her. Sometimes I think he feels left out. So Taylor agreed and said that they would be over in the morning for breakfast and when I told Austin he grinned. It was then that I realised that my twenty two year old daughter was now the mother to a four year old whilst my son was at college. Life had certainly changed since we moved to Nashville nine years ago. Taylor's little snowflake had changed everyone's lives including hers and I couldn't be more proud of my baby.
Leah's P.O.V
My eyes were so tired when mommy was driving us home she kept looking at me and telling me to stay awake. She even blasted the radio at one point. I made it all the way home awake and then mommy made me walk so I would still be awake to take my medicine. Of course that made me grumpy since she usually carried me. But I did it and took my medicine and by the time mommy came to get me from the couch where she had left me, I had moved to her bed and was nearly asleep when she whispered to me "I love you to the moon and back Leah Swift. Please don't ever grow up."
Taylor's P.O.V
Tonight was one of the scariest moments I've had since I've adopted Leah. Sure she is a child and she will get sick but I had never heard her or seen her get so grumpy or upset. I knew I was still learning so I was patient but when I came back from the kitchen I noticed she wasn't on the couch where I left her to sleep looking around I saw her hat near the stairs and realised that she had climbed up the stairs to my room. Grinning I stooped down and grabbed her hat, placing it on the couch for when we needed it tomorrow and journeyed upstairs where I saw the most gorgeous sight. Leah was cuddled into my blanket and in the middle of the bed too with Brownie tucked under one arm and her cat pyjamas were ruffled slightly, she must have had a bit of a tough time climbing onto the bed. So after whispering "I love you to the moon and back Leah Swift. Please don't ever grow up." I got undressed and into my pyjamas then got into bed, instantly Leah left the blanket and sort out for me which made me feel amazing as I realised that although she was grumpy at me for not carrying her she forgave me because she needed cuddles which was cute. My little angel was the best thing that had ever happened to me.
The Next Morning...
Taylor's P.O.V
Tiny warm hands on my face woke me up from a dead sleep, I was lying on my back and Leah was straddling my waist looking at me with her blue eyes that were slightly tired because of her viral infection. I smiled at her while glancing at the clock it was 7.34am which was a decent time to be woken up considering when I got to sleep. Leah looked a little better and said her ears weren't as sore now. So I got up and we went downstairs so she could take her medicine then I mentioned we were going to nana and granddads for breakfast and she started to get excited. "Leah we are leaving in half an hour. Do you want to get dressed now? Or after me?" "Now mommy, please dress me pretty." So I picked her up and carried her upstairs to her underwater world bathroom. She was unusually clingy so I didn't push it very far today, running the bath I put in pink bubble bath and after undressing Leah and putting her in the tub I sat beside the bath and let her play for a little bit, carefully watching the time to ensure we weren't late as it was almost a thirty minute drive home. At 8.07am I pulled the bath plug and Leah immediately stood up, no bubbles anywhere which was an indication she wasn't well. I wrapped her snugly and carried her to her room where I grabbed out socks, underwear, a singlet, long sleeve top that said 'Dance Until You Can't Move' as well as some black tights and a little ballerina skirt. Dressing her was easy enough although getting her to select a coat to wear and shoes took time so I left her and went to tidy up the bathroom and gather her dirty pyjamas, since they were sweaty from her fever.
I was almost done in the bathroom when Leah wandered over to me with Brownie, she cuddled into me and I knew that we would be lucky to make breakfast at the time mom wanted us there. Leaving the clothing I gathered Leah in my arms and started off down the hall to my bedroom, sitting her on my unmade bed I took off her little boots and coat and tucked her into bed telling her I would just be in the shower if she needed me, she nodded and before I could move to the bathroom she was asleep again. Tired, but hanging in there.

When I woke up this morning I was in mommy's bed, it was warm and mommy was right beside me asleep. I lay quietly until my throat got sore so I carefully moved towards mommy and then I sat on her legs but she pulled me upwards towards her so I was almost lying on top of her but I sat up. She then took me downstairs and gave me the nasty liquid before letting slip we were going to nana and granddads to meet Uncle Austin. I was beyond excited.
Up in the bathroom mommy bathed me and then I was getting tired so she got me out and dressed me warmly letting me pick my coat and boots which I picked my plaid boxed black coat with purple and my black boots that looked like mommy's. Noticing mommy had left me I went to the bathroom and cuddled in nice and tight so mommy picked me up and put me in her bed which was still warmish and I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I remember was leaving home, mommy wrapped me in tight to her. Since she didn't want me to get sicker, the car ride was nice and I fell asleep with Brownie again and when I woke I was on mommy's knee at nana and granddads on their couch listening to mommy and nana talk my head was tucked into mommy's neck which was how I like it, warm and comforting. Shifting towards mommy slightly since I was a little cold mommy flinched but soon relaxed then hugged me tighter rubbing my back while I hugged Brownie. After waking up properly I noticed a strange man next to mommy and then I began to cry quietly turning my head into mommy's striped shirt.
