Taylor's P.O.V

I knew leaving the house was a mistake the minute I slammed the front door, but I was mad. The night I spend in my music room on my couch did nothing to improve it either. Life was sucking majorly but I woke from a restless night's sleep with one thing certain in my head. I was going back to Nashville today. I needed Lily, I needed to know if I was crazy or insane or being weird and I needed to hug someone who wasn't Leah or Karlie. Lily was the next best thing without leaving the country because Abigail was in California and not currently talking to me. I could also see Caitlin and everyone while I was in Nashville. That part excited me. I rose from the couch and went to the kitchen to make pancakes, it was a little after 7.00am when Leah walked out. I served her pancakes and she told me all about her week, I kept hoping Karlie would come down but she didn't. "Why you sad mommy?" Leah's voice said from beside me. I looked at her and her blue eyes.  "I'm not sad baby, mommy has to go to Nashville and I have to leave right now so do you think you can go tell mama for me. She's still tired and you know mama loves to sleep." She nodded and jumped down while I grabbed my keys, phone, purse and lipstick from the bench before I looked around the kitchen, noting that I had cleaned everything and then I left. Getting into my Audi and driving out the gate towards New York and my waiting private jet.

Now that I'm here in Nashville I remember why I left in the first place. I felt like I was unsafe, like everything could get to me and I couldn't stop it. I turned on my phone and the first thing I saw was Karlie's face, it was a picture from our flight to Fiji, she was kissing my cheek while I was looking unimpressed. It made me smile and as I walked off the plane I saw Caitlin waiting just like I'd asked her to. She was amazing. Pulling me in for a hug she said, "Hi there Mrs Kloss, how was your week away?" I faked a smile and said it was great but Caitlin yanked me back, "Okay, now let's try again. Hi Mrs Kloss, how was your week away?" I felt myself crumble.

"It was good until Karlie wouldn't talk about having more kids." Caitlin's arms wrapped around me. "Oh babe I'm sorry. Where is she?" I sniffled pulling back and looking at the ground, "Taylor...oh my god you ran didn't you?" I nodded.

"I didn't know what else to do, I..." Caitlin cut me off in a heartbeat,

"Taylor you are a bloody idiot. Karlie isn't Jake or Taylor or anyone of those low life sons of bitches that you have dated in the past. She is your best friend. The only person who gets to know what it's like to lie beside Taylor Swift at night. Babe, she's not like the rest." I look at Caitlin and I see the passion in her eyes. "Maybe she's not." I mumbled looking at the ground. Then I realise what I've done. "Oh my god I ran out on my wife!" Caitlin laughs and I turn and glare at her. "What!"

"You said wife. Hahaha. Taylor Swift just said wife." I watched Caitlin laugh and realised that it was funny. Pulling out my phone I tried to call her but her phone was off. "Damn it!" I yelled Caitlin watched me in sympathy before pulling me into the waiting car and we left for the meeting I moved up to today. Wondering what was in store in this meeting.

With a deep sigh I left the meeting in a happier mood, I had tried Karlie again but still no reply. Just as I was about to leave the new receptionist Kate stopped me. "Taylor there is a woman here to see you, just in this room." She said pointing to the small lounge that we never used at Big Machine Records. "Thank-you Kate." I stated stepping into the room. She smiled at me and returned to work as I turned and was met with green eyes. "What..." I stumbled over my words as her lips crashed against mine pulling me towards her as her hands moved to my butt. Pulling away breathless I went to talk as she growled. "Never.Ever.Walk.Away.From.Me.Again." She stated as I gulped seeing the lustful look in her eye. Nodding my head she pulled me back to her. "Wait where's Leah?" Karlie smiled down at me, "Caitlin and Jack have her for the night." She finished with a gleam in her eye. I nodded and she smirked again, dragging me back out into reception where she thanked Kate and pulled me outside to a waiting SUV. It was then I noticed Paul, "To the apartment Paul." Karlie stated as I watched her. I then began to breathe deeply not wanting to draw suspicion but knowing that I needed to calm myself down.
