Everyone Meets Leah

Caitlin's P.O.V

Everyone was very excited because Taylor had asked us all to come early to rehearsal today because she has an announcement. I hope she is about to tell us she is in a relationship. She hasn't had anyone since Harry Bloody Styles wrecked her heart by cheating on her. She had been through a lot but Red seemed to help her get over it. We were rehearsing the live show today with all the lights and smoke machines. Everything was all go we would be stuck here for at least five hours so I hope it's good news.

We had been waiting for ten minutes when Paul finally showed up then Tay arrived five minutes later. But she wasn't alone, Security was surrounding her and she said "Can you all face the other way I want to surprise you." So we did. Then I heard a voice say. "Who are they..." Taylor responded with "My band. Want to meet them." By now we were all excited I thought it was a fan but when she said we could turn around it was a mini me. My next thought was a music video until the small voice spoke up and said "Mommy can you pick me up?" I almost had a heart attack I found myself staring at Taylor as she picked up the little girl and looked to us all nervously. "Heeeyyy guys so long story short this is my daughter Leah. No I didn't give birth to her I adopted her yesterday. I've known her for three days, she is four years old. Her birthday is February 12th and she calls me mommy any questions?" I watched the band as we stared at Taylor and smiled at little Leah, she was adorable then Amos asked quietly "Hey Tay is she coming on tour?" Taylor looked at Leah and Leah cuddled into her neck, how adorable. "No she won't be on national tour as she has preschool starting tomorrow but she will be on international with us in two months and for summer tour." "Aww okay Taylor that sounds awesome. So is she staying while we rehearse? Or are you taking her home?" I saw Taylor look at Leah and she asked her a question I saw Leah nod and Taylor said. "Yeah we are staying. I'm just going to call Abigail to come and sit with her since she knows Abigail really well already. I'm sure she will warm to you guys too. Why don't you have lunch with us today?" I heard the whole band including me cheer and then rehearsal started.

Leah's P.O.V

Mommy took me to meet more people today. I met a lady and a man at her work his name was Scott and he screamed a little. It scared me but mommy was there to cuddle me. Then I met a bunch of people mommy says it's her band and I got to sit with them for a while until Aunt Abi came and sat with me and we watched mommy practise. She was really good. Now we are sitting at lunch and mommy went to the bathroom and I stayed with the band and Aunt Abi who said they won't eat me. I giggled to that one. Then they all began to talk to me I learnt that Al has no hair, Amos is funny and tells cool stories, Caitlin loves to be goofy, Grant is quiet but has cool hair, Paul loves Kiss I don't know what that is. Mommy kisses me but he likes Kiss it doesn't make sense. Everyone seemed so nice but I know Aunt Abi is watching me so I feel safe and soon mommy will be back.

Taylor's P.O.V

Leah had met the band today and she seemed to gravitate more towards Caitlin, but that's no surprise she will probably spend more time with her since we share a bus. But then she asked me on the way home why Paul loves Kiss and he says he can't see them. I had to explain that Kiss was a band. But Leah was only four so I didn't mind the questions and man there were a lot of them. I loved it. We then went shopping for her preschool supplies that included a school bag, which she selected a butterfly one and her lunchbox which was covered in flowers she saw me on some as well but she laughed and said "Silly people, mommy that's you but your right here too." I laughed it was very cute. Then we stopped at the lawyers just before 3.30pm to sign more paperwork and then it was official Leah Jane Swift was my daughter so we celebrated with ice-cream on the way to my parents. Where we were having dinner then I would take Leah home.

On the way to my parents I heard Leah drop Brownie so I turned around and she was looking at me like she expected me to yell at her instead I said "I hope Brownie doesn't get dirty down there Miss Leah." I heard her giggle. "No mommy he will be clean." Then when we arrived I got out and opened her door, poking my head in to unbuckle her and pick up Brownie then I asked her if she wanted to go see grandma and grandpa and she turned and said "No nana and granddad." I smiled at her and kissed her forehead and settled her on my hip. "Okay pumpkin whatever you want." As I walked us into the house I turned and beeped the alarm at the Range Rover making it glow so I knew it was safe then I continued inside. My dad was waiting in his seat and when he heard us he jumped up to help with Leah even though he hadn't met her before so she was a little scared. "It's okay Leah its only granddad." He looked at me amazed.

"Really I'm granddad?" I looked at him and he had tears so I just nodded as my mom came to us. All of a sudden Leah said "Nana..." and put her arms out for my mom who just stood there so I walked over to her and gave her Leah to hold. She kissed Leah's forehead and then handed Leah to my dad. I knew she was crying so I helped her with dinner while my dad and Leah bonded and it happened quickly as he was silly with her and showed her pictures of Austin which would make it easy when Austin came home and soon enough it was time for dinner. Leah sat beside me but eventually found her way onto my lap. While we were relaxing in the dining room my dad was watching us giggle then he reached over and snatched her away. Stating "Granddad's got you now Miss Leah what should I do with you?" Leah was howling with laughter as I watched them, she said "Nana help me." But my mom shook her head so eventually dad let her go and she raced to the lounge and hid amongst the blankets and cushions on the couch. Dad raced after her as I helped my mom do the dishes and then it was time for Leah and me to leave I went to get her and found her and my dad sound asleep. Motioning to mom she grabbed the camera and took a picture we then woke my dad and he stood up as Leah reached for me. We made our way outside to the Range Rover but before we went my parents told me how proud they were of me and how much they already loved Leah. Grinning I put Leah in her seat and handed her Brownie before getting in the driver's side and driving us home, we hadn't even gotten five minutes away and Leah was asleep.

Upon reaching the apartment I got Leah out with Brownie, locked the car and walked her to the elevator where we went upstairs there were no paparazzi inside which I knew their wouldn't be. I dropped my purse on the hallway table and carried Leah upstairs and put her in her pyjamas and tucked her up. Taking her dirty clothes with me I put them in the laundry to wash tomorrow when she was at preschool then I set about making her lunch glad that I had fruit and such lying around as I hadn't gone shopping yet. I put her lunch in the fridge and then with one final look I checked Leah and went to bed.
