Leah's P.O.V

Mommy had left me at nana and granddads for most of the day, at least she left me Brownie but when I asked nana when she was coming home she didn't know. I missed mommy and when I was sitting on the stairs facing the door suddenly it opened and mommy came in, sighting me instantly. I smiled and breathed out a sigh of relief, she had come back. I stood up and mommy grabbed me and put me on her hip taking me to the kitchen area she settled me on the island and nana and granddad came and listened. "Since the school won't do any more about it, Leah will be coming travelling with me..." mommy then trailed off as I wasn't listening closely. But I was extremely happy to be going with mommy all the time, yay!

Taylor's P.O.V

It was later that night when Leah had been bathed and was in bed and I was sitting downstairs folding washing from my week away plus Leah's clothing she accumulated. My phone dinged behind me and as I reached for it the doorbell rang. The text was my mom telling me Austin was home and the door was Ed Sheeran who was on tour with us at the moment. He had never met Leah before but I had sent him a picture of Leah making a Lego house and I didn't want him to know the surprise about the tour so I asked him in and text my mom telling her we would be over in the morning. "Hey Ed. How is it all going?" "It's going really great Taylor. Say where's your little one?" Laughing at Ed I pointed upstairs smirking I replied, "Asleep Ed, its 9.36pm and she is four." He went a little red and face palmed himself saying "Oh crap I forgot she is little, even though little to me is like twelve year olds. When can I meet her?" I grinned but before I could say a word I heard little feet on the stairs, knowing who it was I went to meet her at the bottom, she couldn't see into the kitchen from the stairs which was great since Ed was a new person and she would be a little funny about him.

"Hey pumpkin, why are you up?" Leah looked at me and started to cry upon instinct I knew something was wrong so I picked her up and started to rock her but she just cried more. Eventually after rocking her for five minutes Ed poked his head around the door and said, "I'm going to get going Tay. Call you tomorrow she needs you right now." He told me while motioning towards Leah, she was back asleep but while rubbing her back I noticed it was clammy, sitting her on my knee her face was warm so I gently woke her up and asked her where she was sore and she said everywhere. She pointed to her throat, head, ears and chest. I picked her up again and took her to the kitchen where I took her temperature and it was 104. That wasn't good. So I took her coat and hat and wrapped her warmly then put my feet into my cowboy boots before grabbing my keys and purse and heading out the door with Leah. Ten minutes later we arrived at Nashville Hospital and after giving her name we waited five minutes to be seen by Dr Flanders who was great. He told me that Leah had a viral infection and ear infection all in one which made me cringe and he nodded saying "She will be miserable for about a week then will come right, kids seem to bounce back easily." Nodding I thanked him, gathered up Leah and we went home, armed with many medications.
