Twenty One

After seeing Bortz, Brooke put her new Canucks bear on her shelf with the others before sitting on her bed and watching High School Musical 3. Beau was lying in bed next to her on his phone and I was just sat on the floor as I cleaned up Brooke's doll house.

"Hey Danielle, why are you cleaning a doll house?" Beau asked as he looked over at me.

"It's annoying me because it's messy." I complained which made him laugh. "Enjoying High School Musical?" I asked him with a laugh. He smirked at me before flicking Brooke in the head.

"Ouch, daddy, why'd you do that?" She asked however she had a massive smile on her face. Beau shrugged and she fell down next to him and cuddled into his side. "Mommy, when can I meet my brother or sister?" She asked me.

"A few months yet Brooke. They are still growing." She sighed and I looked down at my stomach and smiled. I know that it was my second child but I was still extremely nervous. Sid and my parents had bought me a few things for when I do go into labour and Beau's parents had been quite busy with Shane. The other day, Beau got a call from his mom to say that Shane's girlfriend Hanna was pregnant. I was so happy for Shane but Beau wasn't. Beau didn't like the fact that Hanna was pregnant, Beau and Hanna didn't get along. But what Beau needs to realise is that Shane was excepting when I was first pregnant, so he needs to be supporting his brother.

"Next movie daddy!" Brooke shouted as Beau put The Little Mermaid on.

"Beau, your brother is coming over in a few days." I spoke making him sigh.

"UNCLE SHANE!" Brooke shouted. Beau just rolled his eyes at her, he obviously wasn't ready to support him yet.

"Beau, i need to speak to you out there ok?" He nodded and we both walked downstairs and into the kitchen. "You need to stop being that way towards Shane."

"He's my baby brother Danielle. I just can't understand how irresponsible he was." he replied.

"Can you not remember the fact that only after about 4 months together, I got pregnant with Brooke. Shane needs your help and you are not doing him any good reacting the way you are!" I argued back.

"For God sake Danielle, you have no idea what it's like! Just let me handle it the way I want to!" He slightly raised his voice. "Anyway, he's MY brother, I will react the way I want to!" I had given up. Like, he's been annoying me lately. I walked over to the living room, picked up my rucksack thing and walked towards the door. "Where are you going?" He asked as he walked to the door where I was.

"I need some air ok? You treat Shane how you want but at the end of the day, he's your brother and you were irresponsible when you got me pregnant the first time." I walked out and got into my car before driving off to Sid's house. I knew that Jessica would be at daycare so I wasn't embarrassed to see Sid. I felt embarrassed around Jessica and I'm not too sure why. Beau needed some time to think about what is more important, trying to stop his brother from making the same mistake he did or trying to be useful. Either way, he was being a dick and I wasn't prepared to be around him when he chose.
